Spoke to Cooper after the race about his impressive performances on the 450 and the differences in styles between AMA and MXGP, pretty interesting answers and shows how sharp the guys is picking up on the little details. Nice kid and very respectful about the other racers.
Also asked him about the Edmond's incident...Cooper Webb interview

The boy will do well with his determination. He does come across as cocky but he will grow out of it ( like herlings)
She had to jump over the gate and go to him because he was being a dick about it and then gave these retarded ass answers. You would never see cairoli or dungey do shit like that and both are above cooper in the game.
...omg...she had to go over the gate...wooooooo....now I see your point.....
...then you don't like his "retarded ass answers"....would they have been any better on the other side of the gate...
...you don't like Coop...we get it....
...and I didn't see Cairoli or Dungey ahead of him in either of his 2 motos...
To me Coop's got a little of both and can back the smack talk up on the track as well. The dude HATES to get beat and and will fight tooth and nail to win, I respect that.
"You have always been in the shadow of Adam Cianciaurulo coming up so how does it feel to finally get the recognition for how good you actually are."
Kind of like Villopoto always being in Alessi's shadow as amateurs.
That and he has massive heart, kind of old school I do not see him being cocky at all just very confident and he hates to lose.
When he went for the BLOCKPASS of the race by jumping over the berm against the World Champion, I just about shat my shorts!
Good interview.
Thanks
He may be brash and cocky but he backs it up on the track. I love that about him. He has passion and is driven to be a winner. I like it and respect to him.
Pit Row
It works being arrogant for some, others are pretty calm, humble, respectful or whatever, like Febvre,Cairoli,Nagl,Roczen etc
I spoke with Cooper in Atlanta at last years 2nd supercross race. I know these guys probably hate it when some random person forces conversation on them. He exited the trailer into the pit area. 2 young guys were standing by the fence. Cooper obviously knew them and walked over to speak to them. I walked over and waited for a moment to break in. He looked up and I sensed he was slightly agrivated. Maybe he was. Maybe he wasn't.
I only wanted him to know that he was raised less than 100 miles from where I live and I was pulling for him. I also know a kid he grew up racing. At that point, he was very cordial and thankful. My point is, these guys have people wanting a pert of them all the time. It is more difficult for some than others. He will mature and become better in these situations. If not, everyone has the right to criticize hime. Give the kid time. He's only 19 and under a microscope.
There was a group of person with a chainsaw and at night, someone with a "mask" came and start to make noise with that chainsaw. The group of guys found it funny at first but the masked guy continue to make noise with the chainsaw of the group, even when they told him to stop. One of the dudes of this group was getting mad and punched the other guy and guess who was the masked man with chainsaw ? Dylan Ferrandis...
