Best Race Ever

I think it would have to be the Lites race last year at Minneapolis, RV vs Grant.

What you think?

hmm.. the best race that I actually watched in person was when Roncada And Bubba were duking it out at Hangtown in 2004. Man, it was good to see somebody actually keep up and pass Bubba at that time. It was back and forth, both motos. That was a great race.

We have had this argument so many times...the clear winner is and always will be the 90 Atl SX. At least until someone can find a race w/ more lead changes and a less predictable outcome, up till this point in time, there isnt one.

The best I witnessed was RC & JS at Budd's '06. I think Grant, Dungey & Lawrence were incredibly exciting that year too or maybe that was '07.

I remember that race, too. Kdub went 1-1 on the RM250, great ride for him that day.

2001 High Point 125 class, Moto 1 - May not be the best ever, but Akria Narita pulled the holeshot on a muddy track and then him and Pastrana went at it for about 40 minutes. Awesome battle!

I used to think that Travis had a light switch on the right side of his bike instead of a throttle because there were only two settings: on or off. Man, I miss hearing a tapped out 2 stroke.

Orlando 07 ....RC and James battled wire to wire. Was also RC's last sx race on his fairwell tour

RC wringing out his 2 stroke in '03 at Unadilla both moto's only to lose to KW's 4 stroke power up the steep hills may be a great RC performance if not the greatest race.

Yup. A rarity.

ALL FOUR (4) MOTO's were phenomenal.

The Ryno-Brown battle was a dogfight that got brutal and vicious.,

RC was on a 250 smoker vs. KDUb on a 450.

Don't think I've ever seen such a great, COMPLETE day of

incredible racing - like that....

* And, the beers fell like raindrops that day, my friends.....

2002 Indianapolis Supercross.

7 or 8 different leaders.

McGrath up front in his last year.

Travis Pastrana at the height of his SX powers running away from the field.

A bar banging duel between Pastrana and RC with one of them on the ground.

A last lap pass by David Vuillemin on Carmichael for the win.

Every bit as good as Atl' 1990.

Sorry but for rubbing is racing it has to be Hannah vs Howertown at Saddleback. For awesome display of racing was Hannah at Hangtown where he lapped up to and including 3rd place and was closing on Howertown who was in 2nd. and BTW the guy who finished 20th was lapped 3 times.

Oh I was there freezing my buns off.
That was one of the best races I've seen. So many fast guys were in it, swapping lead.. Even RJ led for a while.

I was at that Hangtown race, Hannah was out of sight in about 3 turns. Had it been 45 min, plus 3 laps, he would have lapped Howertown!!!
