Dungey gained 7 points on Roczen,to increase his ponts lead to 44.He ties Barcia with 47 points, and maintains a 63 point lead over him, How do you figure he is a 2 time loser at Red Bud????Because he doesnt cater to every fans demands?

I've been in the pits many , many times during the races at Washougal for the national. Very few other people in there unless you have the right credentials and I see and walk right by a lot of racers during that time. I've never asked them for an autograph during those times , because they are " on the job " focusing on the job at hand. IF I waned their autograph , I would wait until after the races were well over and done , or first thing in the morning.
Dungey has always been a fan favorite with " the fans " because he's extremely approachable and just a good dude. I can totally understand why there are times during race day where he wouldn't want to sign autographs. Yeah it sucks it was your kid , but not all the riders are accessible 24/7 at the races. People need to understand they are there to do there job first , then hang out with the crowd 2nd.
Like I said , my $.02.
Give me a fucking break!
I've bumped into a few pro former and current mxgp riders on our home tracks. I always leave them alone, give them a nod or a friendly hello if they notice me, but that's it. If they want to make time to have a chat i'l be happy they do (Strijbos and Breugelmans are genuine chill dudes), but i don't expect them to do it because of their job.
tell your 5 year old he was tired and needed to get his rest to raise thousands of dollars for children battling cancer.
Sure an off-day, if that's what it is - but those saying he's right to do this? To a 5-year old on a KTM who won his class? It's bordering on non-performanceIIn his job. I'm sure if anyone from KTM is reading this they wouldn't be happy about it.
I'd say the OP must have just caught him at the wrong time. It happens sometimes. Cut the guy some slack.
Depending on what's going on in my little world at any point in time, I can be either the nicest guy on the planet or the biggest jackoff there is. It happens to everyone.
Pit Row
bad role model? ridiculous statement.. Just because someone doesn't take time out of their day for something you want, it doesn't make them a bad person
Who's the entitled one again?
Maybe using this as an example of how focused a champion is even with a big points lead would be a better lesson to teach from this situation.
There's a reason the pits used to be closed to the fans at all times though, now some people take the open pits as a fulll on meet and great event that never ends.
Next time jump out on the track and flag him down. He's on the job out there too.
Oh and while you were trying to bug Roczen he was actually on vendor row sitting under a tent signing autographs. Imagine that. But since the girl didn't want to let this demanding guy's kid down...Congrats on getting Roczen's mechanic's sister's version of Roczen's autograph.
Op, congrats to your son on a good race. You and he spending time together is important. The rest is minor details.
back to their RV etc...
But this guy may be trying to teach every rider that there is a reaction to their reaction!
