Well my previous thread was overtaken.
I'm excited to ride this weekend.
Ordered a FMF factory fatty , shorty silencer , V3 and a flywheel weight.
Should be good.

86 kx500, purchased from original owner. Still had original tires and everything else. Ya bikes are awesome, i just like all of them. Thanks.

Congrats, but what the hell's up with that silencer? Is that to meet a new sound standard? It looks like a fuckin bazooka.

Yeah they've made all their silencers same worldwide... That is the Euro spec bazooka!

Good choice. Low maintenance, easy maintenance, excellent parts availability, lightweight, great suspension, low cost....home run.

I have the V Force reeds and flywheel weight ready to go in my bike. Just waiting on the flywheel puller to arrive so I can do it all at once. I have the 2013 Yz250. Fun bike. I'll want to do the FMF and shorty silencer next myself.

Congrats! If you can't dial in the jetting in the 1/8th throttle position look into a #8 slide for your carb. Will help smooth out the powerband.
