I'm sure DV has some great insight, as do many other observers of the sport. What I don't understand is what makes him think he can just walk up to RV at A1 and tell him he's doing it wrong, and expect RV to immediately call his team and tell them to slide the fork legs up 10mm. DV is carrying on like a jilted lover, it's strange.
I never walked up to him to tell him his set-up sucks. Am I a fucking idiot? I don't think so. We were all in Wey's...
I never walked up to him to tell him his set-up sucks. Am I a fucking idiot? I don't think so. We were all in Wey's truck talking about it and at one point, since I know how RV rides and how he sets up his bike, I told him that I thought he's was gonna struggle if he wanted to used a US-like bike there... That's all. But what do I know? I GOT IT! I NEVER WON ANYTHING, IM NOT EVEN A HAS BEEN. IM A NEVER WAS... I've heard the story...

Sometimes I wonder how Ryno gets blown by all you guys with his weird gym workouts and you call him an "American Bad Ass" when he never won a single race in the main class in his career? If I am a never was with an empty trophy room? I am wondering, what is he?

Here is my all-time SX stats (250 2 stroke & 450) for the kids that were in their dads' balls when I was winning races...

LMAO!! DV....I think only about 1% of the dudes on here or any where for that matter , have ever called you a " Never was ". Fan or no fan.....if someone doesn't think that chart isn't impressive.....then they are clueless.

I dig listening to your point of views. Don't let anyone stop you from posting or talking about your opinions!

Well brother , I'm not sure exactly where I said that , but I think you may of taken it out of context. There are guys on here ( or were until they got banned ) Like MxGeoff , Mxfollower and a few others that , that specific quote was directed towards. There were a couple guys on here with their location as GBR that were rubbing it in that an Italian won ( talking about other races...not the GP this past weekend ) , or another rider from other countries then their own.

If I remember correctly.....that conversation went as the GP guys rooting for anyone and everyone from every country to go out and beat Americans. I know damn well we have shit head posters from on this side of the pond......just as you guys have shit head posters over there. When I say something like that.....it's directed towards them. NOT towards guys like you , Jamma and many others. So if I pissed you off for what I said , I apologize.....that was not my intention.

And yeah....sometimes I go over board with it all. When the shit starts to hit the fan....sometimes you gotta pick a side. And me..." being me "....have a hard time staying quite on certain things. Again though....I'm sorry if I rubbed you the wrong way.
Shit definitely gets taken out of context on here lol There's dicks on both sides of the pond, and we're all so passionate about this little sport of ours that verbal punches are bound to fly from time to time. And it's so damn easy to get caught up in all that. But it's cool dude, no hard feelings here. It's all about the moto at the end of the day and I can't wait to go racing again!! Roll on round 2.

I'm surprised you're still on here defending yourself against these keyboard jockeys.
I guess I just have some free time to spare these days. I absolutely love this sport and put a lot of work into what I write and say. I try to analyse to the best of my knowledge every subject I talk about. I think that's why some people like what I write. I am a keyboard jockey too with a big mouth and I can handle the heat. If I couldn't, I wouldn't be on here. I always like a good debate when it's filled with facts.

Je n'en abuse pas, je perds déjà assez de temps sur MX2K, mais c'est vrai qu'il y a un certain nombre d'interventions assez distrayantes ici aussi... Bon, t'as toujours pas de titre, depuis le temps?

It's all good brother. I can see and totally understand why some GP guys may be pissed at me for some of the things I have said over this past month or so. I deserve most of what gets thrown at me for saying stupid shit. I've for the most part always been un-biased on much of everything.....but these past few months have made me say things I usually wouldn't say.

Bon, en même temps, un pilote retraîté avec un cerveau en état de marche et capable d'exprimer trois idées cohérentes par oral et, plus rare encore, par écrit, c'est pas mal, non? Ca ne court pas absolument les rues...

I respect DV and no doubt knows alot about mx here in the states and GPs but my take is that what you think works for you might not for RV. Even reed stated that RV setup for here is crazy and he doesnt undertstand how he can ride that thing. RV is use to that chopper style and feels comfortable with that. I dont think he or anybody else should panic just one race in and at a shitty track like qatar. RV will be fine and im sure he will figure it out, its just one race folks relax, RV is a beast and knows how to go real fast on a scooter, he'll be just fine in thailand.

First moto stalled bike at the gate

It sure would be interesting to see is RV could ride a well set up GP bike set up by a top GP rider for a day or so, and to look at his lap times for comparison.

I feel that DV is spot on. That guy needs to be working as a riding/ team coach.

PS. The track in Qatar looked pretty fun to me!
So you really do not think he tested Paulin's bike from last year???

Think I read he tested the factory bike and brought any USA spec parts he wanted with him. I would not be surprised if Kawasaki did not ship one of his US bike to Europe too. For back to back testing.

Kawasaki are fully committedd to this venture.
