Ping did an RMZ450 and a dude on bike check just posted up one as well... Send em both an email... Tho I'd bet any reputable graphics shop could make a set easily enough...

The RM lettering is actually 1990 graphics. The '89 had the RM letters side by side and a little smaller.

Who makes that seat cover? The seat cover pulls it all together nicely. Nice work, real clean looking.

Im doing a restore on a 1990 RM 250 and had a local guy print me off these gems for a great price. Let me know if you want his contact info.

Those are custom. He posted a thread about the bike just a few days ago. Track it down and send the OP a PM. the seat cover is probably just a Moto Seat.

I was just thinking lots of guys on vital talk about this when I saw this advert in the current issue of UK magazine Dirt Bike Rider, UK based company but these guys might be able to help.

Kinda of expensive, I want to call local to see if they can hook me up for a better price w/ something close
--- then add a med blue seat cover w/ light blue ribs

Agreed.

So simple, just looks fantastic tho.

Kinda highlights how the crazy new ones aren't necessarily better if not done right.

That's my bike. I designed the graphics myself, and I had a local print shop in Belgium print them out. The seat cover is from MotoSeat www.motoseat.com. Thanks for the great comments everyone!

Hands down my favourite retro RM250.

The only things I would change if I did this on my bike would be to keep the USD forks and use silver rims.

I concur.

A perfect example of the "less is more" adage.

Try saying "less is more" to some of these young guys who powder coat anything metal on their bike. There's a tastefulness in letting the simple mods and understated graphics do the trick. The older you get, the better it looks "stock".
