I seriously doubt it. Pros on Honda and amateurs on KTM? That doesn't even make sense.

Wouldn't they just extend TLD KTM down?

That's what they're going to do and already are, the Geico thing makes no sense to me.

I don't understand how or why they would want to do that. KTM already has TLD so there would really be no point. Unless they wanted to have more of a modern competitive bike in superminis it wouldn't make sense.

I think were getting a little to much " orange " into the mix. They already rule the GP's.....now they are starting to take over in the USA. Great bikes I know.......it just seems like everything is turning orange.

X3 It really is bumming me out. At least there is still a pretty good chance(IMO like 99%) that we will see a different brand win the SX title, at least in the 450 class.

That's great for us, the cumnsumers. If orange is dominating on the sales floor I will force yellow, green, red and blue to push the envelope of technology and give us more great choices.

What? People on here often say they are excited that KTM is putting so much effort into American SX/MX, but now it's TOO much? If the Japanese factories don't want to put in that effort, somebody will have to fill the void.

I've also heard from a very reliable source that Factory Honda is thinking of switching to KTM next year.... Might be untrue, but who knows?

I'm glad a manufacturerer other than the big4 is doing well, but it's still good to have some variety.

No.....it's not to much now , but it is getting deep here with the color orange. I mean it's coming hard and fast. Over in the GP's , the KTM's pretty much rule everything over there. BUT.....yeah I do agree it's nice having a 5th name ( 6 counting these new Husky's ) out there competing with the Jap bikes.......just don't want them to over throw everything else in the process.

I can't help but dig KTM though , since they have been such a huge supporter of the 2 strokes. They kept building and progressing when the Jap bikes gave up on them....so kudo's to them.

Maybe it's because I'm so familiar with all the Jap bikes.....having an Austrian bike come in this strong seems a little weird?

Wasn't there a PR recently that they just extended their relationship with Honda for like 3 more years?

KTM is taking over, hopefully it just makes it better for us in the end.

only way i could see that coming about is if Geico want to start getting kids even younger, (while on 65's or 85's) and give them a chance to put them on a 125 for a year before getting onto the 250F,

There is inovation and new technology or burdensome rules and regulations(ama and fim). The jap companies choose burdensome rules and regs to protect their 250 and 450 bikes except for Yamaha who does build cool stuff.
