Most of you guys talk about "expanding the sport", but then you jump in and slam moto companies? What's wrong with this picture?
THIS. I used to not wear FOX anything, but now I generally buy more Fox clothing than anything else.

Expensive stuff I want but don't need....gets me every time Smile .

I hate MM just because of the idiots that wear it. It really bugs me to see some 220#chick smoking a cig wearing a fox hoody. But for me fox is about as good as it comes. Also wish the whole monster thing would die off a bit.

Cant stand walking into a dealer and seeing parents buying their kids the $79 special KBCs. The aforementioned 4 should be the only players around. Time for a new "big four".
AGV should be thrown on the good list.

Yamaha's for being so damn ugly

Alpinestar's for making ugly gear after I waited 5 years for it to be imported into the US

DNA for making shitty wheels

Renthal for making terrible expensive sprockets (but good bars)

Parts Unlimited for not carrying TLD, One Industries etc.

MM as brand is a bit shit, but damn they were smart in a business sense... They knew what they were doing.

What is it with you guys hating on Fox? They are pretty much the original moto brand and still put out awesome gear, as well as having significantly expanded the sport. I guess if you really care that much about being "core" to all the other vitards, but that seems like a pretty dumb way to live your life. Just my opinion, but I guess I just don't give that much of a damn about what others think to the point where I won't wear certain moto brands because non-moto people might happen to wear them as well.
Thank you...So true. Who cares if "non moto" people buy Fox gear...that allows Fox to have enough money to sponsor / support riders and the sport??!!

LBZ, any energy drink(they ruined the factory teams imo), and anymore Fox. I used to dig fox gear in early 2000's, up until all they made was tattoo looking gear and since every non-moto person thinks Fox is just a shoe or clothing brand. But Fox is going back up in my book the last couple years of it looks pretty good...except neon yellow gear -______-

A friend of mine bought a Fox V4 helmet $540, on his third ride he crashed and broke the visor, he went to the dealer to get a new one and they didn't sell them and couldn't get one in. He contacted Pete Fox via Instagram and Mick Sinclair the Fox Rep in Australia they both said to leave it with them and they will see what they could do. A few days later a parcel arrives in the mail, the kid opens it, its a brand new Fox V4 helmet. What other company would do that. It made me a Fox Fan for life. And all this happened only a couple of weeks ago.
That is awesome

x2 At least someone here gets it. Those Fox folks are geniuses. Marketing their clothing line in various venues so they can increase revenue and exposure for moto. Their clothing sales revenue probably far surpasses gear sales.

Bought a pair of instincts Christmas time, had a crash a few weeks ago and ripped a huge chuck out of the back of the boot. Quite disappointed after paying £360 for them.

Not sure if they are still around but their cartoon Mexican print ads were so low-brow it made me embarrassed for the sport.

I don't care how much money they put into the sport or if they are the original moto brand.

Doesn't mean I have to like or support the brand.

Having dealt with fox when I was younger, and not in a good way, I will continue to support other brands that have always done right by me.

I'm not going to hate on people that buy or wear fox stuff because that's their choice, I just wont be one of the people spending my hard earned money on that brand.

What the heck were his parents thinking?

Hate Hate Hate. I love Fox gear and clothing. It does, time to time, make me uncomfortable when I'm standing next to some douche wearing fox clothing though. But I don't really have a least favorite. I think I have bought at least one item from most MX associated mfg's out there. Quit the hate and try to expand the sport. Get money from the d-bags when you can. I like my flatbill hats with my ears tucked in, but I'm no bro. I don't have anything vital yet though. Might have to look into that.

The thing about FOX.. They are definitely brilliant and have marketed themselves well. No doubt their MX gear is still some of the best too. I think the distaste for FOX is from folks who also liked to wear their casual wear. Wearing a FOX shirt or hat doesn't mean the same thing it used to. If I am wearing an AXO or TLD or FLY shirt or hat, I obviously support the moto industry. If I am wearing a FOX hat, or even Oakley or Alpinestars, who know what is is you are supporting as they have ventured way beyond moto. You can't blame them for expanding their scope, it just makes it harder to buy their clothing as a moto enthusiast not wanting to look like a dweeb.
