Depends where the racing line was too to anticipate Mikes move.
But,...Dean probably should have waited to make that move the next lap if he was closer behind Mike in the previous straight. It would have been more obvious to Mike he was being challenged/passed and he could have reacted differently.
Mike tried to prevented Wilson from cutting in and found himself on the ground.
I agree with the rest here saying the MCR PR is terrible and causes more harm then good this way. You are seriously putting yourself and the whole team off as amateurs.

Also, that incident is totally different than with Tickle. The glasses Alessi's wear are special.
mike turned down early, Dean tried to stop and turn as best he could, (he did fall over doing so), Dean did not gun it and release the clutch Like Mike did to Broc,
nice try, but that was racing,
This will be brown holed, and covered up by guyb here in minutes.
Just like any epic Alessi melt down on here...or any industry melt down for that matter.
And I further agree that you don't really see any other teams getting out there trying to defend their rider's move. They accept that people are going to think what they want and the AMA is going to do what the AMA feels is best for their business and they know if they don't like it, they can find somewhere else to race. By providing the Alessi's a home, you've put the team on a very short leash. It is what it is and isn't going to change.
Solidifying that you are the biggest joke for a professional team.
Pit Row
It's crazy to think that the guys over at MCR still wonder why they are the laughing stock of professional MX teams.
Just kidding, but don't forget that was in slow mo.
apples to oranges
MCRacing...I'm afraid that what you hoped would've resulted in a huge wave of support for Mike, and would have had everyone crying about how poorly MCR has been treated...has become a complete failure. This has done nothing more than solidify the idea in many a mind that Mike Alessi is the only good thing about an immature, whiney-baby organization. Sad, really.
Does Wilson twist the throttle immediately prior to impact?
If Alessi wasn't there, would Wilson have made the turn?
When Alessi hit Tickle his foot was NOT on the brake, he DID accelerate into Tickle, and no, he never would have made that run regardless if Tickle was there or not.
I love that MCR just keeps on making things worse for themselves. It's so entertaining.
I sped it up to 3x and it was still at about half speed. At that speed though it definitely looks like Alessi called his bluff (see his front wheel actually leaving the ground as he gets on the throttle) and wound up on the ground for his troubles. Maybe it looks different at 1x.
Dean was too far behind Mike in the straight leading up to the corner for it to be obvious to Mike that there was a pass attempt hapening. I think Dean should have set that pass up one lap latter when he would be closer to MIke.
That being said, I still judge this a racing incident.
