Runner up was a 1978 or 79 Husky 390cr full factory European GP bike. I don't know how people were expected to ride an open class chainsaw with wheels. Once it was rolling, it was too much engine for the front end to stay down no matter what gear it was in. It was stupid violent horsepower. Twist and pray.
Other than that, I had a 1998 YZ250 with a long-rod kit. If by "Fastest" we mean powerful, and then if we are talking useable power - that was the machine.

Fastest bike I've ever ridden was a hayabusa. Pure speed.
They warned us about turn 9 at Willow before the one track did that I did... yeah, very easy to go off there. Almost ended my day a couple times!!!
Street-Suzuki RF 900-current street steed.
Fastest motor would have likely been Michael Byrnes old bto rmz450 that my buddy bought. I'm of a smaller build so I still think a 250 sized motocross bike suites me for better overall performance on a mx track.
Pit Row
TZ250!!
Now it sits in my Family Room all Polished up Beside my Fully Restored 1982 YZ80j.
MX Bike: 1979 Canned-ham MX5 250. Like trying to ride a bull on speed.
Street, '02 Hayabusa. Exhaust, +2 rear sprocket, couple other little things.
