Cool for Jerry.

I know the kid is good and all, but for Geico to expect him to wheelie all his motos is just asking too much.

Contgrats Jerry.. Geico scoops up another one on his way up. A lot of potential, hard worker, & you know damn well he's very appreciative.

How cool would that be to have those delivered to you? I would be giggling like a school girl.
What a great story this has been to follow.

I'm not up to date on spotting the exact year and if its a 450 or 250 on the honda, but one has showa and single exhaust, other dual and kyb. So we looking at a 2012 250 and 2013 250?

I wonder if he will keep #85 or go to #194..

The summer he had could be made into a kick ass MX movie!!

Cool for Jerry!

Here's the skinny on the bikes as you can purchase them from Factory Connection. I looked into this over the Summer.

"The bikes we sell are predominately stock.

These are general guidelines..... they generally have 4 to 5 race on frame & swingarms.....2 to 3 races on transmissions that have been polished and hardened......stock head, cam, piston, valves (and 95% of the time these engine items are brand new), also new or very slightly used are the wheels, bars, triple clamps, exhaust...etc. Stock suspension, FC can setup for rider, pricing depends on level of support.

The current year bike 2013 CRF250 is $5,200 and 2012's CRF250's are $5,000

We keep a list of who is wanting one and its also best to check in 3 to 4 weeks before you think you might want one."

Same goes for TLD Honda's too, back to stock etc....

Okay, so he's not officially part of FC's amateur program like the other kids they've gotten recently right? This is someone buying him put back to stock Geico race bikes?

Shawn.... He did or someone did. It's cool you can get their bikes, but they are not tricked out like the "race" bikes.

He could have a ride with them, but those look like the "back to stock" bikes you can buy from them.

Sounds like FC hooked him up with a lower level support ride from what I'm reading in other places. I was just trying to get the straight story. Huge congrats to Jerry. On to the A class he goes.

"lower level" or "higher level". What does it really matter? He's got two brand new Geico bikes! That is freakin awesome!

Even a few stock bikes is good support. Those puppies are freshened up and have some nice decals. Thats coming along way from the 85er!!. I'm sure hell put some goodies on them and hell get some parts from somebody. Companies want exposure and this kids getting it.

Pretty sure he told me it was the first brand new bikes he's ever had.

Great invest, almost like if Warren Buffet was Geico Honda's team manager.

Congrats again to "RJ" (& all his supports), his mentality & "natural marketing talent" may bring him where he wants to be.

Now, I am sure you are already thinking like that, but just in case:
1. Work like you want to demolish RV2, FOCUS at 200% on this. Work a lot on the bike too, test as much as you can.
2. Ride with your head, watch the lines evolve, keep cool & collected, staying injury free like Dungey is key to make a career.

Good luck RJ !

The kid is interviewed by Vurb Moto and is instantly slammed for riding the '85 as a publicity stunt. He does great in both classes he enters and is discredited for racing in a weak regional. Performs on the big stage @ LL winning a class and places 9th in the extremely competitive 250B class on a 1985 CR 250. The young man lands a quality ride and has people downgrading the level of support he's receiving. I don't know why people can't be happy for the young man and not choose the jealous low road. I'm sure Jerry would have been happy with any bike support he could get regardless if it was 2-4 strokes, 2010-11-12-13, or stock or factory.

Congrats again Jerry.. Hope you take full advantage of the support you're receiving and continue to smack some ass. Work hard, stay humble, remain appreciative and never forget where you came from.

LOL @ Jerry..... In a fun way because like someone said before, I bet he is giggling like a little school girl right now.

I know you probably dreamt about it, but a year ago did you really think you would have two Gieco hondas sitting in your driveway??? Not to mention a little support.

Well done, young man. You earned it in my book.

Waiting with baited breath to see you line up in a pro event in the future.................... Best of luck, dude!

So can anybody buy these? Or is it just low level support?
