Have a 79 250 that is restored and ready to race. Suspension done by Eric Harvey at Norcal Vintage racing. 2 sets of wheels with new tires.

1975 on a Suzuki TM75. Only took about 24" of air to bottom out those shocks and forks and I only weighed about 80 pounds back then. Wish I would have kept that bike, lots of great memories.

Seems like some of the larger, stronger guys would do well. Peick maybe? I would guess 25lbs of additional weight wouldn't affect him as much as someone like Baggett.

You missed the best bargain of the last decade when Husqvarna closed out the Italian CR 125\144 bikes. I picked up a brand new 2013 with the 144 kit installed and a 2nd set of plastics out the door for 3600 bucks. Another $350 for an FMF Fatty, rotor guards and 1 tooth bigger sprocket and it's great for woods...

I have the same bike. Bought it new in Nov 05. I change the oil and oil filter every 3 hrs, air filter after every ride. Keep at least 2 air filters on hand. Wash it top to bottom after every ride and check valves every 10 hrs. Still on the original piston but thinking a higher compression piston from...

Norcal Vintage Racing is where I sent my suspension after Mendehall screwed me over. Eric Harvey does really good work. I would use them again without hesitation.
