This kid comes out of nowhere and is doing something that not one other kid his age would or could do! If it were that easy to go that fast on an old ragged out bike then they'd be doing it every year! Jerry Robin obviously will ride and race and go fast on what ever you give him and that right there is HEART people, Hannah like heart in my book! I'd bet that for as long as they have had that bike and all that has gone into it to make that first moto of the 250B class in which he placed 9th, that it was still the cheapest bike on the line in that 250B class!!! Anyone want to respond to my post in a negative way, eat it, you don't even matter. What does matter is that what ever happens the rest of the week Jerry Robin is still going to be one of the best stories to come out of Loretta's in 2013. JR is making what I feel is moto history and some just don't get it...
This is actually the only logical post in a couple of pages. People in here are way to sensitive to others opions. Which at least I thought everyone was entitled too.

Jerry is obviously doing a great job taking that bike around the track. The bike may be cheap and all of that stuff but it will NEVER be the best bike out there. I really don't understand what it has to do with what the other riders have. Jerry has proved he's fast on no matter what bike. Some riders can do that and I think more credit should be given to him for doing so instead on bashing on each others taste in bikes. Now move on.

I love it. Please forward this post to the BIG BRAINS that kill MX.
A $5000 motocross bike please... I understand...the cost of this bike. But please give us the $5000 MX bike. Let us choose if we want to add $4000 of goodies.

Yes there's a production rule. Otherwise this may have been a better choice.

He must be doing something right. Close to 30 pages of Vitardism on parade in the middle of LLs already.

Sounds like he was around 15th (see the Jerry Robins thread). I missed the darn thing. Was doing a bunch of computer maintenance crap here at work. Sumnabitch. Anyway, sounded like a combination bad start and shortened moto killed it for him. Damn!

He finished 18th in moto 2 of 250B. First lap he hit the timing in 24th, dropped back to 27th the next lap and then worked back to 18th at the finish.

I don't want to hijack the thread and I'm sure it won't because everyone wants to talk about Jerry....but can those conventional forks be made to feel like modern suspension? I figured it would be the most limiting factor and was curious why I never see anyone try to retrofit some modern forks on an older bike like that.

Loretta's has really delivered this year with an awesome week of racing! Congratulations to all that qualified for this event and to all the Champions that have been crowned thus far. I can't wait till tomorrow.

Good luck to Jerry Robin and hoping he times the gate perfectly for his last two Moto's.
