Here comes the big Red machine. Tomac-Barcia the second coming of Bailey-Johnson? Calm cool and precise versus just get it done and make it happen. Longshot but why not Tomac Barcia one two.

Tomac has been anything but calm and cool this year. I was at A1 and he was overjumping everything on the track at first, going super aggressive

It will be interesting to see how he goes on the 450.

Eli talked about it a little bit in the video that Swap posted in the other thread on this subject.

With the way things have gone this 450 season, a 1st or an 11th won't really surprise me!

So true, and why this year has been so amazing, now that things are going East, i think we will see who really wants this title the most.

RC has always said, things dont really heat up until Daytona.

Yup, RC sure loved that East Coast dirt. Honestly, and I think a lot will agree with me, the only thing I root for is a gate of healthy riders from green to checkers. I hate the diminishing level of excitement that comes a long with a lot of seasons as the rounds progress and riders drop away.

Well said! These guys are riding right on the knifes edge, and as we get deeper in the series, the intensity level will also rise with it....sure going to get even more interesting!

Can he win one? Yes.
However, it is easy to forget that when he enters turn one of his first heat the pecking order will be forced upon him. The top 5-6 guys will not let his brain process one ounce of confidence in hopes to effect his performance. If a guy like RV can be rattled (like A-1) then ET is also suspect in unfamiliar territory.
Unless he holeshots!

My thoughts are if he gets a good start he will blaze everybody and win ,the guy is just so fast and agresive and mentaly focused on winning that he will be too much for them .I think he will definitly be the next icon of the sport...IMO

He's ridden the 450 quite a bit before this so he should be up to speed quickly...now that it is Thursday (maybe two days SX on the 450)..I wonder how his 450 lap times compare to his 250 times. Where is he riding? Either the Honda or his home track he has hundreds of laps on the 250, so should be a good indicator of how he is doing.

He's one of the....if not THE fastest rider in the series. Should be interesting

This bums me out that I couldn't get the all day pit pass this time, I would love a chance to meet the kid.

Either way I will be there pulling hard for him. He could pull it off with the right start. I've said it a few times, if this kid can stay healthy you are looking at a guy with multiple championships on the 450.

What do you mean?... The pit party is FREE.

Just recycle any empty Monster Energy can from participating QuikTrip or Kroger locations at the Pit Entrance for your free admission to the Pit Party

Just grab any ol ME can from a garbage can (I don't drink that nasty stuff) and turn it in.

I would but my wife can't handle it after the flood gates open for health reasons. We have been able to get industry seating the past few years that get you in early and after the race.

He could win. He is just as good as all top guys out there. He could also get a seventh or eighths running a similar speed to what he would do to win lol. It's all about the start and not making mistakes. Speed is no problem for him.
