You're assuming that somehow its the backwards engine that is causing the "supposed" issues on the Yamaha. How do you know the frame is not the issue...and that the next generation frame which is supposed to accomodate the backwards engine better will fix it? Thus..not so rough long term or short term.

The problem for me is that the level of risk is matched by the level of fun and the thrill that you get from dirt bike riding (for me MX). If the risk was greater than the level of fun, I would give it up in a second....I'm scared every time before I get on the bike, forget about it...
