His name is noone cares.....and he is older and faster than a 6 year old. The factories love him because of his birth month.

I respect the fact JT holds some historical merit in the sport, but they're trading of this and charging stupid money for their latest gear. Its Motocross, not Polo.

Then don't buy the stuff. There are those people that will buy well-built gear. Look at Klim gear, high priced but very functional gear in my opinion.

Alessi Brothers.

I remember reading a while ago that the Alessi's are looking for a different gear company. My bet would be them.

stuff is so ugly I feel bad for whoever wears it. I do respect bringing back the retro stuff, but it should only be worn in the vintage class.

I think the best riders to wear your gear are those with the best style or winning.

Stylish riders can make any gear look cool even if their not winning, while guys with not a good style who aren't winning tend to make it not look that good.

It's $255 for pants, jersey, and gloves. So about £190.

Which IMO it's not that far off from other gear manufacturers if it's good quality and holds up.

Yep, MSR sure knows what they are doing with Kdub and Wey. But the designs are legit too.

Maybe it's a marketing strategy? Create a quality image with premium pricing. You have to have a lot of dough for penetration pricing..

Lots of stuff looks good, MSR, most ONE looks nice, Fox is boring.

The JT stuff just doesnt do it for me. Too bright and no contrast between the colors.

I still need a bit more convincing with this JT comeback before I part with any ££s. The fact David Bailey has a foot in it might sway me, but if your asking me (the consumer) to buy into this nostalgic brand, I want a better story than "we liked the brand so we bought the license from some massive corporation". Doesn't make me feel all fuzzy and nostalgic.

I just want Shift to hurry up and re-release the black Emig gear from the late 90s! Thats some retro gear I will fork out for.
