Suprised no one has come up with this idea, even though I doubt it will happen. To this day we haven't ever seen Villopoto take this baby out, and if Stewart doesn't show up at the MEC (seeing as how Reed and Dungey are out, and Canard is hurt), do you think Villopoto could still sweep them all on this...?

Those pics just made me as hard as a catatonic elderly man who has been sedated on muscle relaxers.

Seriously, nice bike, but it's a two stroke. zzzzzzzz. I'd rather have a bone stock 450. Thank you very much.

he was trying to make a sarcastic joke to express his displeasure in looking at a completely decked out works KX250 because its a 2 stroke, and he would rather have a bone stock 450.

in 2005 that bike beat every 4 stroke it raced in SX with 259 on it. but yea, it sucks. LOL

I would be happy with a vid of him ripping the clutch out of the thing on the track. But for a race Kawi would never let him ride a bike that is not a production model.

I saw RV kick everyones ass in the B class at Whitney in 2004 or 2005. It was definately a race worth to see. Mike Alessi was racing A and had just got his KTM's.

It's a pretty bad ass bike, but I'm pretty sure Stewart said it was so maxed out that it was the sketchiest bike he ever rode.

1) what's the gray spacer between the carb bowl and the engine cases?
2) what is the white colored stuff on the primary shaft by the front sprocket?

Foam... When you case a jump, the carb boots flex, and can allow the carb to come out of the boots, or even cause a bog..

The other appears to be a fancy snap ring for the countershaft sprocket, since thats all a kawi uses to hold the sprocket on

Looks awesome, but I remember reading an article where Stewart said that if he had to ride the KX250 for one more year (after 2005) he was going to quit. Apparently he doesn't think it's so great.

That was before he realized that he didn't do any better on a 450, still got his azz handed to him by a red headed step child. Just sayin. He thought he was faster than RC, and figured with the 450, he would start beating him.

these pro's dont have any desire to race 2 strokes. did you hear what Bubba said about that YZ he rode? i guess he thought it sucked. and Reed has said he has ridden a 2 stroke recently and he cant believe anyone would want one

Thought I would correct your statement: Against 450F's, not against 250F's. All pro comparisons are done using the 450F as comparison.
