Tomac Crash

Looked like the grip came off.  😲🧐

That was odd. I mean this with no disrespect, but that’s a crash I expect from someone like ARay or even Clason, but not Tomac or any of the top 5 guys. Shows it can happen to any of us no matter how skilled we may be.

His hand slipped off.

thought he took quite a hit to his wrist aswell and is that the knee he injured last year ?

looks like a tweaked knee but that can feel that way and spring back to life pretty quick. 

Hope it’s just a Charlie horse and comes back normal for the night. We’ve had a good series so far and would hate for it to end this way.

please tell us he is ok keep update

If Tomac is hurt and can't continue, Sexton has to be kicking himself for the 7 point penalty for jumping on the Red Cross flag

It was painful watching him walk down the tunnel limping like that. 

Hit to the right knee looks like he smashed in into the right handlebar right above the knee. Usually tendon injuries happen when the foot hits something that won’t move but the body keeps going. Maybe it’s just a Charlie horse. 
 

Hope it’s not too bad.

grips were on. watched it again. color of the grips made me think that one of them had come off. 

That was just shy of a mule ride. He looked in pain and could barely walk. Perhaps he thought/thinks he can shake it off. Dammit I hope he’s ok. That was the oddest crash, perhaps he hurt this hand during the week and had a problem gripping the handlebars. 

They said he’ll be in the next qualifying round.

1st lap ET1 wasn’t going WFO and the jump blew his hand off the bar. Grip didn’t come off.

Eh, reasonable minds could differ. I trust Eli to know what a “I need a mule ride” injury feels like vs. a “walk it off” injury. 

Seconds b4 the crash. It’s 23 & it belongs to me.  Always had it always will. Oh crap ejecting off the bike.

He’s getting back on for qualifying #2. So while he is retiring in the next couple of years, it’s not right now it don’t look.
