I heard it's a broken femur, but still nothing confirmed. It looks like his hand slipped of the throttle, causing him to give a gas at the very end.

All reports I've had suggest a broken femur, but I've not had anything from someone close to Gajser.

Once I get something concrete, I'll share it here. You know, as part of Vital's improved MXGP coverage that's coming soon...

So is he fine or is his leg broken? 

I heard broken femur from someone at the Arco track - sucks for Tim….

That was brutal. Was this just some off season warm up race? If it's a femur I could see him maybe missing round one , and wait for round 2 on April 9th. That's 6 weeks, which is about impossible for a mere mortal......but I wouldn't put it past him to try and line up. 

I have seen this guy walk away from so many crashes where he should have been wrecked physically, it was bound to happen. Hopefully he heals quickly! 

Bummer. I was hoping for a good battle with Renaux for the title. Heal up quick Tim. 

In the US it would be obvious because they'd fly him out, not sure how it's done over there.

The video I saw it looked like he was carried away on a stretcher not exactly walking away from it.

Damn, guys like Ferrandis and Gajser going down just sucks for the sport. Such a bummer.

Time is flying even for the  bullet. He get older, he had a long time off the bike recently. Powerful riding style that doesn't age well when you get older with a lot of injuries. We will see but all my money is on Renaux. 

Every one that I have seen there has been a chopper involved. Worst helicopter ride you'll ever take, cannot even see out the windows. 

Tipping Gajser vs. Renaux for the title is a hot take. Herlings, Febvre, Seewer and Prado would like to have a word... Haha!

If you take a better look at the video, the first bump caused his hand to slip of the handlebar and probably he whiskey throttle when regripping. 

Same track Herlings whiskey finish line jump and went to flat crashing down.
