Looked like sexton gave everything he had today and still could not beat Jett. I lost track of how many times he tipped over today but you could clearly see he wanted to beat Jett. Has to be crazy weird in the Honda semi these days.
Goes back to what JS7 says about their two riding styles.
Jett's style allows him to run his speed easier, than Chase's style allows him to try and match it.
if i were sexton I would be pumped with that 1st moto. Crashed then ran him down from a huge margin, lapper in the way then ran him down again
It's clear to see . Right now Jett is just better . This is a captain obvious moment . Chase has to push the edge of control to keep him in sight and we don't even know if we've seen Jett's best .
So I’d like to hear the people who downvoted explain their opinion. Chase was fast as shit today, no doubt but didn’t have the extra 1% to pass Jett.

He just had mono a few weeks ago. Probably lost all of his fitness base. You can’t just build that up again coming out of bed.
He may have hit the ground a few times today. But he was giving it all he had. He’s only rider with a chance to beat Jett. Next week will be interesting.

Somebody has to win...somebody has to lose. I agree though that, bottom line...no matter what the excuses the fanboys have for Sexton, Jett Lawrence is just better than Sexton right now. That might change if Jett has some bad luck, but if he can keep on riding a clear track from the start...Chase will have to wait until he's on an orange bike, if that even matters. I betcha today frustrated the shit out of Sexton though!
I was going to say I want to see jett start behind chase. Have a epic battle and see if he can win.
But 2 weeks in a row he has started behind chase and made light work of him or chase makes a mistake.
Rc seems to think it's much easier to follow at their level. The 2 motos chase has been close maybe he was just following jett coz he has never put a wheel on him even tho he has been close a couple times.
I think he will get a moto win by the end of the season. 21-1 season for Jett.
Sexton has a high emotional IQ. I doubt things are weird back at the semi. He’s a respectful competitor. There might be drama if he had the emotional intelligence of someone from Real Housewives.

Just watched the replay and I really like what Chase did in the beginning, pulled the holeshot, and you could tell Jett was wanting to make a quick pass, Chase cut him off twice and pulled a little gap through the rollers, he showed some fight. Too bad he spun it around in the corner, gave Jett an easy pass.

They showed jett walk to the tent after 1st moto win and he just stood there for a minute until chase finished talking to the team then chase walked out and they didnt look at each other or say a word and it looked very awkward.

Chase “tip over” sexton. Don’t act surprised, it’s been his normal before this season. Nothing surprising. Maybe a new bike will change that.
I actually think Sexton leaves Millville with more confidence and Jett a bit less. Chase wanted it bad because he’s good there but washougal is going to be the big showdown. Jett even said that chase is the only one that can actually run his pace and that Chase is good at the next round.
If chase holeshots and leads a few laps it’ll rattle Jett. I’m a fun way though because Jett wants to be pushed. Looking forward to next weekend.
