Does anyone know if and when the KTM rebates are going to happen? Last year at this time I was able to get a 23 KTM 450 sxf and 23 KTM 350sxf for 8K OTD. I understand this may be a once in a blue moon deal but I was hoping to get a similar price on a new 24 KTM 350sxf.
Right now. Westfield Powersports in Indy is advertising KTM rebates.
KTM isn’t offering any rebates right now, just special financing offers. Those are discounts the dealer is offering to move through inventory.
I don't think we will see those deals like last year again for a long time. I hadn't even planned on buying a bike this time last year but ended up with a 300xc for 9.5 otd lol. Think it was just a weird year with the 24 model coming out so early.

The dealership here is discounting bikes in the crates. They are giving up on KTM as they are being required to become full line dealers.
KTM seems locked in a tailspin.
It is only March 27 of 2024 so why would there be KTM rebates this early on the New 2024 models?
Go to your local dealer. Are older 2022 or 2023 models sitting on the showroom floor? Those would be the rebate models to move old inventory not the current year models yet but you can wait a few more months and see if dealers have the inventory to move.

My local KTM dealer has big discounts on some 2024 models. New model year KTM's have shown up as early as the end of May before so that's literally 2 months away. Kawasaki is already increasing rebates on their 2024 models. New bikes aren't selling like it's 2020 anymore...
There are model specific rebates in lieu of the advertised finance deal.
Feb of 2023 KTM had ~$1100 off of FC250s. They actually had better rebates early last year than this year.
The 25’s will start tricking in as early as May is why…
But to address the topic our local dealer said his allotment for 25’ was greatly reduced and he’s not expecting to see much in the way rebates or discounts on the 24’s because of it. He used 300xc’s as a example, said for 24’ he got 10 and right now is limited to 4 for 25’, assuming he’s being up front.
I looked on their website and saw none of that. I know they had big rebates previously, but it looks like they all went away. Can you share a link?
I know Husqvarna had "secret" rebates last month as I bought a 24 TX300. It's up to the dealer to offer it or not as I understand. I bought a 24 for a bit less than my 23.
There is no link. You have to talk to a dealer. It is model specific for instance a 250sxf was $500 off and an mc250f was $750. I saw a post on YouTube saying $2k off a 450 but unlike the 250 numbers I have not confirmed that 450 number with any dealers.

If it isn't on the KTM website, those discounts aren't coming from KTM. That is a dealer discounting product to make it move. That certainly isn't uncommon in the post pandemic world. If KTM was offering rebates, why on earth wouldn't they post them on their website to increase sales? They (and every other OEM) have always posted their rebates in the past. "Secret rebates" wouldn't be very effective at drawing in customers, would they? If they weren't being advertised, why on earth would a dealer pass the discount on to their customers?

A dealer I trust told me he had just received updated rebates from KTM before quoting me back in late January. Enough other people have posted about it on various sites that combined with what a dealer told me seems legit. The fact that the rebate changes based on the model is more evidence to me.
KTM never did post rebates in Jan/Feb/Mar of this year. Why they chose to do it direct to the dealers instead of on their site I don't know, but they have been doing this for months. Car manufacturers have factory to customer and factory to dealer incentives. It is not that odd.
I have also been told they have cut way back on production for the upcoming 2025 which is good as the KTM group absolutely buried their dealers in the last 9 months or so with product. Bikes are selling really well but when you get a full years worth of every model in a 30 day time period then there will be some fire sales as those go off of free floorplan for almost any dealer. KTM also shot themselves in the foot by having huge rebates this time last year which lowers what customers expect to pay in the future and also really hurt resale which is always KTM’s strong suit. It will take another year to level it all out I’m sure. And there are public rebates and ones that dealers know about but aren’t put out in public.

Guys, the market is returning to normal after the heady days of Covid. In 2021, OEMs were scrambling to produce as many bikes as they could, while dealers were frantically tripling their orders to try and service the huge increases of customers coming into their shops waving cubic dollars around. That momentum carried over into 2022 forecasts and production. It takes a while to slow the ship down after that, and last year's rebates were likely a reaction to the zealous overbuilding done in in 2022. (2023 models.)
In short, I don't expect KTM or any other OEM to throw massive rebates around unless they got their forecasts wrong or are having trouble moving their units for another reason.
My dealer told me he expects the ‘25 models to come in later this year. He said he expects the cross country models around September.
I generally agree with this post. However Kawi may be saying "hold my beer". 2024 KX450 rebates are now $1200 and the 250 which everyone assumes is getting replaced by an all new model this fall is $750.
The OEM can and often does if inventory needs to move is offer rebates to their dealers that are not advertised to the public. Depending on the program at the time the dealer can use it how they choose. It could be model specific only and not apply to all units. A manufacturer to dealer rebate/incentive could be going on with KTM right now and some dealers may choose to use it or share it to help incentivize a retail deal or if they don't need it to make the sale they pocket the rebate and nobody but the dealer knows.
The Amount of in stock inventory and length of time paying bank flooring charges affects what a dealer is willing accept.
Next year models are normally announced just prior to Loretta Lynns and manufacturers can have them on display for thousands that are there to see up close.
Dealers typically do not receive them for a while after that. That is the time to get the best deals on leftovers
