No idea what you meant LOL. I am thick. And strong. Very healthy in general. I was running 13.1's in 1:50's at 225lbs. I was a thin 210lbs racing motocross and I did 140.6's triathlon at a very lean 205. I'm not a little guy in any stretch of the word.

And I love 1911's so that's my profile pic. What does my size have to do with 1911's?

Do we think this will be his last one? Should be fun to see him defend again. Been awhile since someone backed it up.

Yeah. If Jcoops figures out the whoops it's over. Not to mention Jett and Sexton figuring out the consistency. Webb has had an incredible run. I think he's content and believes he's already punched above his weight. Now he can race for fun as long as he feels like. If the opportunity is there bc the field fumbles again then it's there but nothing to stress over.

Or is it possible that a guy who thrives on doubters now wants to make a point he can race outdoors. Especially since he’s now accomplished more than anyone expected in 450SX and no longer needs to prove himself in that venue.

Maybe he’s tired of people saying he sucks outdoors and wants to remind people how fast he was on 250MX.

Nobody is counting him in for even trying to finish MX and right now he’s in the lead for SMX $$$

His craftiness doesn't help him outdoors. His ability to cut down in the turns amd essentially shorten a sx tracks isnt helping him. Chase Jett amd Eli are just outright faster. Quite a few other guys have him covered too

Didn’t say he would win the series just that he might go harder than people expect. Who knows, Jett could re-tear, other guys could get hurt. I could see him giving it an honest go for awhile and surprise a lot of  people.

I don’t know that his past 450mx results are related to ability as much as interest

Indeed, and the ones that have him covered are the following:

Jett, Sexton, Tomac, Prado, Hunter, AP, JCoop, and probably Hampshire.

This is a bind for Webbites. They're left with two explanations for Webb's relatively woeful 450MX career.

1. He's simply not very good at motocross on the 450.

2. He has little interest or desire, which puts in question is so-called 'grit' and ability to grind his way through uncomfortable situations.

The reason is connected to both possibilities, which in turn are interconnected.

Reason: Webb knows full well he's not up to scratch outdoors so, therefore, can't be arsed training for it and bothering with it at all. He also knows that because he has good SX results no team is going to get on his back about putting zero effort into motocross.

Personally, as you can imagine, I don't give two fucks if he shows up outdoors.

Remember, if you want to see Webb 'outdoors' this summer, start hanging outside any local McDonald's in North Carolina. You'll be bound to catch a glimpse of him 'training'.

The difference between his SX skill and MX skill is about as big as it gets…

Ah, Anderson, yep, of course, I'd forgotten about him. He'll smoke Webb. I would have put Ferrandis and Barcia too, but both are out injured.

Coop also wants (and deserves) redemption at MXoN and a strong showing outdoors will help his prospects for that tremendously.

See thats my thing. All we hear from Webb fans is that its number 2. "Just wait I think Webb is going to surprise you this summer. He wants it!" Wait, what? I thought he was an assassin. The assassin usually quits on half the season but he feels like trying this year? Hmm.

No idea. I trained myself with some input from a guy that did mid 10's in a full Ironman. I taught myself how to swim, I did take a single private lesson though. I was a runner prior to that for about 20 years. I did triathlon as recovery and proof I could, after losing a kidney to cancer and a list of other major injuries. I've been hit by a car while biking, lost a nut, lost a kidney, shattered femur, broken arms, collarbones, shoulders, herniated disc. I'm still here and I ain't done yet.

He's been to the MXDN several times, raced a 250 when he was a 450 rider there, and a 450 when he was a 250 rider. Won an outdoor championship with multiple top fives throughout the years, are people really stating he is not a good outdoor rider? Not everyone can win the championship every year.

Wow there’s some butt-hurt Webb haters here. Hell I just suggested he might surprise some people and come in more motivated then expected and made no predictions and they act like he’s a C class amateur.

So we should just agree with you blindly cause he might be more motivated this year? I prefer to go by his past results against the currant racers and they have been un-inspiring. 1 OA win since he stepped up to the 450MX class, consistently off the podium with a few hard-fought depleted field podiums mixed in.

There is no questioning his SX resume, but outdoors he is lack-luster compared to his peers.

I dont think it's agreement that he is looking for. I'm sure he would appreciate less hostile and derogatory statements being hurled in the wake of what was just a casual thought.

I thought I heard Webb was hurt??? Some kind of nagging hand injury from SX and was most likely not riding outdoors...or at least not at the start.
