Barcia outside?

We've seen some pretty awesome rides from him outside when he's feeling it and his bike is good.  That seems to be where he's at right now.  What do you think his outdoor season looks like this year?

He has the fitness. If his bike  is dialed and his heart is in it. Multiple win threat.

I personally don't see it. 

He has 4 overall wins in the 450 class.

His last win was in 2021. Before that was 2018 and he's got two wins in 2015.

I don't think he has the speed of the top guys to challenge for wins outdoors.

He looked good last night.

I think Tomac was managing, but with the lack of places the track offered to make up time, no one was going to make any hero moves.

I don't think he has the speed of the top guys to challenge for wins outdoors. 

Barcia might could win a moto if he gets a good start and something happens to the other top guys. I am not sure he can run the pace for the whole moto though. It would actually be fun if he could. Who knows!

If he would spend his time and energy on improving the areas he’s getting beat outdoors and race smart he’d be a threat but…you know the rest. Zebras can’t change their stripes.

Dialled SX bike doesn’t = dialled MX bike.

It would be great to see Barcia carryover this renewed speed, but it’d be more of a surprise than his current clean racing reform.

How do you know he has the fitness, we know from history sx fitness is not outdoor fitness!

Badboy, have you seen how tight his gear is? Jk, it has been brought up a lot lately. He is top level in fitness.

He likes to have fun on the bike wide open, he's turned it down this year a bit it's quite noticeable and his riding is better for it, if he cleans up a bit he will be pretty strong in outdoors but not a full blown title threat, some podiums,.

I'd say he found the speed this year in supercross - multiple main events where he's had the fastest lap of the race. He's also been better in qualifying times lately. Hopefully it carries to outdoors.
