We rode like shit. I love AP and the 5th was ok but we have to have more than that.  RJ is just RJ, always something. Craig was awful and I'm sure he feels like he let everyone down. This is what we get when our teams don't want to support this race. We send a B/C team and look like a bunch of monkeys out there. It was hard to watch to say the least. The ones who should be embarrassed are the ones who sat on the couch instead of representing their country in the biggest race of the year.

Just have to start living with the fact that the usa is no longer the leader in the world at most things. Probably 20-50th in education, 50th plus in life expectancy and worse in quality of life. Our schools are a real mess, and even when you walk on the streets in the usa you can immediately notice how filthy it is compared to europe. Truth be told america has a lot of soul searching to do and the disappointment at mxon is just ripple effects of a sad and decayed culture

Feel free to move to Europe. I hear Sweden is beautiful

You would think after being banned twice with previous user names that he would try to change his posting style just a little…but nope…

If you thought this year's result was bad wait until they are required to add one black and one trans rider to the team for diversity quota

AP, Craig, and Hampshire stood up when no one else would, and deserve respect for that, but our team was lapped.  5-18, 16-20 and 16-10 scores were not what was I think most expected.  Dean Ferris,  who retired, beat AP who is a factory racer.  He also beat Craig, who granted hasn't raced in a year but still clearly something is amiss with Team USA's efforts at the MXdN.

What is embarrassing is people like you that sit on a keyboard and make statements like you did.

Ok, let Star's or Kawasaki's team manager run the team. Is Decoster going to let any GasGas, Husky, or Ktm rider on the team? No way, the USA's team is just an exercise in Decoster's ego. This has been nuts for a decade or more, the dude is 80 for krys sakes! Kawasaki states none of their riders will be on the team if he is the manager, if the team is so important to him, why wouldn't that cause him to resign to increase the number of eligible riders? Just to diminish the idea of impropriety. Unreal. Albrecht for future team manager.....

Surprising that KTM group basically got waxed outside of Prado. That bike used to be hard pack king.

It's not embarrassing it's disappointing, I'm not clued on in why the top guys don't want to or can't go the only thing I can think of is because the US rider schedule is brutal, that said in my eyes this is the biggest and most fun race of the year if I was a top tier rider it would be my dream and goal to represent my country and myself at the MXdN, Again I don't know the reasons and I'm quite shocked that Deegan didn't/couldn't go it would have been a great great experience for him and progression for his career.

If I was a US fan I'd be quite annoyed as they can field a team that most likely would win/podium at the very least.

Enjoy MXoN for what it is: a totally unimportant, bonus race. It means absolutely nothing. There was zip, zero, nada at stake.

A win wouldn't have improved your status in life. A loss shouldn't bring you down.

Guys, we're just dumb fans that have no right to say we want anything better than 8th. We should give these delicate flowers the praise they deserve for going to a picturesque motocross track in France to represent their country as part of their $250-$500k annual dirt bike racing package.

ALL POSITIVITY, guys!  ALL POSITIVITY!

Oh and a supercross win brings you so much profit? MXDN is the biggest race of the year if you like it or not.  Find me another race that charges 40$ just to watch it.  And the majority of us pay for it because it that big of an event.  I’m not paying 40$ for any ama event

Getting beaten by some unknown overseas riders isn't good for the brand or the income stream.

Having Chase on the team would most likely have moved you up the rankings but still probably battling for the third podium position at best.  I don't think anyone could say for certain that Deegan would have done better than RJ, and AP is still your next best guy (assuming that Tomac isn't available).

No one was beating France this weekend.  They could have substituted Ferrandis for one of their 450 guys and still got a similar result.

Should have sent Ty Masterpool

great starts and faster currently than Craig

But he rides a Kawi. The glowing Guys in Green and KIA (Japanese intelligent people, not your aunt’s hybrid car) are back at it again sneakily stoking international tensions while holding the little man down and sabotaging US preeminence on the world stage.

They knew and we knew where they stood relative to best riders in the US and the world stage, yet they answered the call when others didn’t . They bore the heavy weight not only of the US expectations but also as defending champs to the world. They deserve our praise not criticism. I hope they enjoyed the experience and don’t pay attention to the trolls.

Embarrassing is when a guy who only races SX, is on a 6 yr old bike with a kick starter and wins the Overall in the Stacked MXGP class against the worlds best.

I do feel like it is bullshit that teams and countries pay to get their team there, and many riders ride for free or loose $, and make it happen and the promoter makes a killing.  That needs to change….but won’t until teams make him make a change.

Lot of Kawasakis on last years team? Good grief, let's just all kneel at the altar or live and die at the house of Decoster. It was all him this year again, his riders, his way, his bikes. Same as it has been the past few decades most times ( not all), might be time for a change, maybe? Maybe not, let's keep him team manager until he is 95. Maybe if he lives long enough 105.

Vialle absolutely killed it. The guy finished second overall against 450s in race 2.

Definitely disappointing. The French were killing it though. Prado is a beast too.

No…no Kawasaki rider was a top 3 choice last year. …but you said Star also….and 2 of the 3 bikes were Star. Also of note….zero KTM group bikes on our team last year.  …Also, Tomac rode green in 2018.  …but…imo it is time for Roger to move on.  It’s just not quite as conspiratorial as you make it sound.

I’m sort of wondering if Vialle regrets coming to the USA.  From what I saw he could have likely won another MXGP2 title.
