Many Fox folks openly questioned the Dominion story. But only Carlson openly railed against Trump.  And repeatedly. He basically crapped on Fox’ golden goose. That was more than enough grounds for dismissal. 
 

Bigger question:  what did Fox pay Tucker to keep his lip zipped?  That dude has to know where the bodies are buried. 

Tucker isnt gone, he is just getting started. 

Fox is gone, he is the big draw, now their ratings will drop like a stone just like the others. 

Meanwhile TC will make his way on internet platforms and do very nicely thank you

Tucker is and always has been an entertainer, basically a carnie. My personal hope is this is the beginning of the end of the opinion based “ journalism” that has become the majority of all cable news networks

If I’m Carlson, why not call it a day?  His texts and emails clearly demonstrate that the paychecks, not the message, were his primary drivers.  Now that he’s built a tidy nest egg, take your foot off the gas and allow your family to live in relative anonymity. 

He's had plenty of money all along from frozen fish sticks and TV dinners........

Seems like Fox News, is on the Bud Light Share price train.

Of course , you also have to factor in that it doesnt actually matter that nobody watches, because with all the MSM peddling the same stuff, the reward isnt where you think it is.. its not about making money, its about the power that comes by pushing the narrative. 

Carlson, I think, said FOX has never told him what to say. 

All the 24 hour cable “news” networks are no different than any other reality TV show these days.  I don’t understand how anyone even watches them?

I believe that.  I also believe Tucker didn’t say what he didn’t want to say publicly, either…

“We are very, very close to being able to ignore Trump most nights. I truly can’t wait”.

TC backtracked heavily when those text/emails were released. But it’s not like we didn’t know Carlson & Hannity were hype men and not journalists. You get ratings by telling people what they want to hear, not the truth.  But what’s truth got to do with any of this?

I can't say that I've sat down and watched a full episode of Tucker Carlson, but from what I have seen, he seems to do a lot of interviews I do enjoy. These are the interviews with people that seem to be "off limits" for the swamp propaganda machines, such as RFK Jr, Peter Schiff, Dr Peter McCullough, among many others. These interviews seem to be respectful and with great back and forth that you wouldn't get with a hostile interviewer you'd expect from a CNN-esque narrative protecting stooge.

I'm sure he'll land on his feet somewhere else, and I'll continue to tune in.

Tucker is awesome, and trust me , this is just a start of something new and cool. He'll take those 10's of millions of people who follow him , and do his own thing. There is a reason why he had the largest audience, but now he'll really be raking in the money. Rumble, Spotify , Daily wire , the blaze..... almost all of them and many more will be offering top dollar for him.

I am hoping he is done. And his brand of saying whatever gets ratings.  But it’s very hard to kill a cockroach.  So, I agree with you.  He probably isn’t done.  And and we will all pay the price.

Tucker’s commentary revolves around what the viewer wants. He sticks his ear out the window, hears the grumblings of Fox’ core demographic, and responds accordingly. His popularity grew by echoing the gripes & fears of millions. Smart from a business/ratings sense, as telling people what they want to hear works, especially if it allows the viewer to focus their anger on a common “foe”. Even if he truly didn’t believe what he was saying himself. 

Is he really any bigger of asshole then someone like Don lemon or that piece of trash Rachel maddow?

You don't have to agree with Rachel Maddow but she doesn't belong in the same group as Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon

He has made some mistakes over the years , and when he does , he always admits it. He does in fact tell the Truth and that seems to hurt people's feelings. They'll call him a liar, and out of 15+ years of being on TV , they can't point to , to many mistakes. It's a smear job. The MSM did and still lies their ass off about Trump......and when their lies get exposed , they never apologize or admit they are wrong. 

Tucker has always called BS in ANY politician, including Trump when he spouts shit. He isn't a Conservative either , and never has been. He's a right leaning Libertarian.  Like me. 

He calls out the swamp ( both sides ) , he calls out corruption ( both sides ) and for that.....he has enemies on both sides. He supported Trump , but admitted a few different times , he didn't care for him. 

Last Fridays show had RFK Jr on there , and among some things , he called out the BS on all the fake news coming out of the Ukraine war. THAT upset the war mongering / uni-party , war complex machine.....and they wanted heads to roll. 

I'm a registered Republican, and I want to hear what RFK Jr has to say. And with him being a Democrat, it's a breath of fresh air coming from the idiot's in that side. 

Tucker getting canned from Fox, is one of the best things to happen in a while. It will be the push that's needed , that is going to align a lot of people, that will leave a mark. And I can't wait. 

Supposedly this has to do with the lawsuits brought by his former producer Abbey Grossberg, we'll see,  but we probably won't.
