It's finally revealed.

The price wasn't revealed, but it was posted on Amazon and taken down. It will apparently come in a 1TB and 2TB version. Price listed was $760.

Disc version and digital version.

I only have two thoughts after this show...

1) if the PS5 is over $700, I'll wait a couple years.

2) Rockstar is still milking as much as possible out of a game that was originally releases on PS3. I know they make a killin off GTA online but damn... This is overkill.

Everything I've read says it's better than any PC currently on the market. So, if that's the case, I can see it being around that price. To be honest, it's not that far fetched. The PS3 originally launched for $499 (20GB.) and $599 (60GB.). That was back in 2006.

It’s a fine line, if it’s too expensive, people will wanna wait for a price drop.

Didnt some kid get shot at a gamestop over getting a copy of gta?

I will buy gta 6 but still havent heard of a release date.

They had that problem with the PS3 and that's why the PS4 launched at a better price point.

My guess is that it won't be more than $550.

We'll see. I'm getting no matter what.

I like it. Hope they retain their "play by yourself" mode on the disc version... I hate the idea of having a separate login and password for your player ID, each of your controllers, the console itself, and the requirement that you subscribe with some kind of account in order to play, even if you don't want to be online while doing it. It seems like the whole world is heading that direction and content is more "rented" than owned. I want to buy something and own it forever.

Spiderman for PS4 was amazing, i'll be picking up the PS5 and getting Spiderman : Miles Morales for sure. best superhero games made.

also, i played all the Oddworld games back in the day, loved them all so can't wait for that one.

Looks very apple-ish in design to me. I'm definitely not an early adopter for tech so will probably wait a while before getting one. Was impressed with the 10 teraflops processing speed though. Crazy how much computing power that is.

I can’t wait for the PS5, and the new Horizon game. I wasn’t sure how the graphics were better until I found comparison video on YT. Seeing as Horizon 1 was stunning visually, this will be incredible! I honestly see no reason why anyone would purchase the Xbox unless they are Halo fans

I always picked playstation from the start only because years ago the games at the store or blockbuster for playstation was a whole isle on both sides all the way down with games to play. Where all the other console games combined fit at the end cap of one isle. It was like 20 to 1 as far as options. Better now of coarse but originally seemed like a no brainer. I actually hooked up one of the Xbox in my bedroom tv like 6 years ago and never turned it on yet which even I find odd, as much as I love games. I actually have my old ps3 on top of it because I thought I might want to replay some things but have not touched it since either. Lol We got the xbox to mix it up and to do the light Saber workout but I'm still out of shape so I wish i would of. Xbox is equal or maybe even better than playstation i would imagine , its just my PS is in my garage that I never leave so it gets all the convenient use. I also put an xbox in one of my vacation rental properties and people absolutely love it. Really looking forward to ps5 but off to the stack I guess for ps4 then. I have all my consoles since Atari still.

Remember when Sega was so amazing but there was rumors of Sega cd? Then when it came out you find out it actually connects to your sega console and you are instructed to pop off this secret panel that reveals the slot for the cd add on console that connects it together and as a kid you are pissed because you think to yourself, man they new about this and had it planned the whole time and why didn't they give it all at once instead of tricking us? Lol of coarse now we recognize the marketing perspective but as a kid you feal tricked. Good times.
