I’ve had pinch issues with certain goggles and specific helmets. Maybe specify which helmet you have and someone will be able to help with a goggle that fits that helmet. I had had to go back to my older Oakleys with my shoei because the Airbrakes felt too big in the pocket.

Dumb question but how snug is your helmet?

reason I ask is I have had the same issue after going to a Bell helmet a few years ago. Back then I went to a different smaller designed goggle that helped fit in better. I recently I went to a new 6D helmet and am having the same issue with it even when using the smaller goggle frame.

After thinking about it and how its dropping the viewing area and goggles down on my face and goggle is pushing down on my nose. I think I maybe buying to large of size helmet. By going 1 size smaller it will raise the viewing area higher on my face.

Best thing I’ve found for this is take your helmet with you to a shop and try different brands.

Have you tried trimming the foam a little in the nose area? The older 100% racecrafts pinched mine a little but the armega has been perfect.

Oakley Airbrakes are what I wear now specifically for the breathing aspect. That and the hard lens holds up really well while adding more vision protection.

Edit to add that I’m wearing a Fly Formula CP helmet.

I had the same with my Arai - I added a bit of foam in the frontal lobe of the Arai - made the helmet port sit higher on my head and stopped it from pushing the googles down onto my nose. Same goggles - Adjust helmet .

Still best to buy googles and helmet that fit right out the store .

Scott prospects have less foam around the nose really like how they fit compared to others I’ve worn previously.

I finally got a good combo: 100% Racecraft 2 with my Moto 10. Prefer not to mess with modifying foam so I was happy these goggles let me breath really good with my weird nose.

I honestly think it depends on the shape of your nose and where the helmet sits in regards. My prospects fit perfect with my Shoei. With my Fox V3 they say much lower and pushed my nasal paths shut. With the air brakes it was the opposite

Check out Intake Breathing nose clips. It makes a significant difference when you have goggles on. Scott Prospect + Intake Breathing will provide wide open air passages through your nose.

I’ve raced a few hare and hounds where that would have been really nice. Lol

I went years with Scott's , then made a switch to a certain Spy goggle with the adjustable cam. I liked them quite a bit until a buddy of mine let me try his Airbrakes. I was blown away on how perfect they sat inside my helmet , and also a huge improvement on being able to breathe out from my nose. Also , the FOV is incredible as well. I kick myself for not trying them sooner , as it was a huge game changer , just for overall comfort and made my Motos much more enjoyable. Been that way most my life I guess. I don't try something new until I'm forced to , then when I do , I'm like " Damn it.....why didn't I try this before! "

Eks goggles have a smaller dimension top to bottom. Because of this your helmet does not push them down into your nose. Try a pair of their inexpensive goggles, they have triple layer foam and are only about $30. My favorite goggles of all time.

That is impossible to answer because of the various aspects of how a goggle fits.

1. Everyone has a different face
2. Helmets vary a lot
3. Then we get to the different goggles and there are hundreds of different on the market.

For someone brand and model X might fit the Formula helmet well but that might not be the case for you because of your face and helmet size. The only way to figure this out is to try a bunch of goggles.

I’ve had issues with this for years and found Viral goggles are the best I’ve ever used for not restricting my breathing.

Currently wearing a Fox new generation V2 helmet, I find that Scott Prospect and Oakley goggles fit very well.

However, I recently got a pair Leatt Velocity googles as a gift, and was saddened they severely restrict airflow through my nose. Not sure if it’s a combination of my helmet and face shape (more round), but I’ll definitely avoid them in the future.

Actually I was pretty surprised, as I’ve always a good experience with other Leatt products.

I found that when I can't breathe through my nose, I need to loosen the strap a bit.

I'm currently using Oakley Front Line 2019. They fit great, and visibility is excellent. By visibility I mean that the optics are great even when they're dirty, and the frame doesn't block my view. I hope I don't need to use it, but having the thick lens does feel safer than what I was using previously (an older Oakley).

I bought a pair of Leatt 5.5 goggles and thought the same thing.

If you're having issues breathing out of your nose there is a high likely hood that you have a deviated septum. Goggles sitting on your nose just make it worse.

This. It’s trial and error period.

I doubt any full sized adult goggle is going to give you anywhere near the ability to breath that using a youth sized goggle does.

I use the the youth sized Oakley MX frame pictured in the center. It doesn't look that much smaller but trust me it makes a night and day difference over either of the other 2 goggles pictured.

Unless you have a friend thats a goggle rep or you a gargantuan sized head I doubt anyone would ever notice you're wearing a smaller goggle if that's something that matters to you.

The next time you're at Cycle Gear or some other shop that has a variety of brands and sizes try holding any adult sized frame to your face and pay attention to how they set on your nostrils then do the same with the youth frame then thank me for passing this on. On top of that.....they're cheaper on the wallet as well. I found one of the goggles pictured was actually pinching my nostrils shut no matter how loose or tight the strap on a medium Troy Lee SE4 helmet.
