Everyone is saying this is such a great track for Sexton, but you almost have to throw out beginning of the year motos for Tomac, he pretty much sucks round one no matter where it is.

I'm no Pala expert but it seems to get more chuckholed and square edges in the late summer national so for that reason I gotta go with the hammerhead guy. I say Tomac brings it home.

I gotta go with Eli. ... I want him to back to back SX and MX titles. Like I said in the other thread, Chase has years to dominate. Tomac is nearing the end of his career and he has been amazing to watch....moreso since he switched to Yamaha.

Heat is going to play a big factor. I had forgotten when Chase had heat issues years ago.

Just looking for some good racing....like it has been all year.

Hard to believe it's over already.

I've rooted for Eli for years... But I think Chase is going to blow everyone away this weekend.

I wanted Eli to win the championship for the most of the season.
However,Chases Moto-1 come from behind at Budds this season won me over as fan.
I honestly would love to see Chase pull off this championship.
Eli's already won it multiple times.
I think Chase is kinda the underdog even though he's giving Eli a run for his money.
So with that said it would be cool to see a new first time premier class champion!

Sexton because I'm a Honda man and I wanna see Tomac come back next year...

As much as Eli has been the guy I root for since Dungey retired in 2017, I wanna see Chase win. I want to see him break through and get that first title out of the way. The confidence of winning a title, maybe he goes on a run and is the next great American rider. He's got crazy speed and he's still young

I know this is going to sound wishy-washy, but I'm 50/50. Part of me wants to see Eli go out on top, but the other part of me wants to see Sexton do it, because to be the best, you have to beat the best (and like Lenny said, Chase winning could light a fire under Eli to come back next year).

After Budds, I would have said Chase. Now I say Tomac finds a way to go 1-2 and wins. Unless of course something outside of normal racing happens like one of them going down on the start or crashing.

The way Tomac spoke and acted in the interviews after the last race it seemed to me that he felt he could beat Chase again.

You know what is crazy to me? Both riders are going to finish out the season with over 540 points out of a possible 600 points. To me, that's a more impressive statistic than Stew or RC going 24-0 (I don't think their competition was ever really all that tough when they went 24-0, sorry.... not sorry).

Can you imagine reaching +540 points out of 600 and not winning a championship. Ouch.....

Pulling for Eli to get the double title year that really puts him in an elite class. Would be a damn nice way to cap off a hell of a year.

Tomac throws it all down to win moto 1. That way he can let Chase win moto 2 by 45 seconds and cruise to the championship.

Shorter motos probably help Sexton. Maybe this is enough to swing it in his favor.

I'm not biased one way or the other, but Chase has shown to make weird mental mistakes late in the race. With heat, this much pressure...It will be a real test if he's over those little mishaps or not. I just hope they are both at the front and put on a good race.

And then go onto win Des Nations

Head says Sexton, heart says Tomac. Hope Eli does it just so he can win both titles in the same year.

I'm pulling for Eli just because I want to see him add this title and maybe another SX title to his resume before he hangs up his boots. To me this would solidly put him with the greats of American motocross. I see the odds as 50/50 tomorrow and if Chase wins that'll be cool as well.

There were a number of Sexton issues this year that has kept him from an "easy" clinch this weekend... The one that stands out to me is the tip over at Thunder Valley. Followed by the 7th with multiple crashes...

I still expect him to make it happen Saturday.

I'm rooting for Tomac, but I have to give massive props to Sexton for his rides this summer. What an amazing campaign he's waged. I won't be one bit surprised if he pulls it off this weekend.

I don’t care who wins, I just want it to come down to a last moto battle for the win.

This seems likely... But man, anything can happen still. What a great time to be a fan of moto...

More impressive is Eli has never scored more than 527 points. If Eli loses he will lose a championship in which he had his best year ever. Hard to wrap the mind around that one. Those two have had an amazing year no two ways about it.
