I am going to say any aluminum framed Japanese bike. They are all terrible compared to a steel framed KTM.

1987 kx80 - hated the bike.

LOVED my 89 big wheel though.

I had a 1985 Cagiva WMX 200, yes, it was a 200...never seen another like it. It was my first big bike, the forks were horrible, the hardware was too. I can recal the swingarm pivot snapping and ending a weekend ride, another time the subrame broke where it meets the top of the frame, The delorto carb was a nightmare. I rode it for a year, then my father bought me a new 88 Cr 125, wish I still had that Cr. I thought I was RJ, some of the best times riding in my life.

You are right. I was riding a 1996 KTM 360SX on a MX track and in a long straight a 2003 Honda CR125R(the worst 125 motor that year) was behind me in 5th gear. Too much torque but 0 top end.

This piece lol. 2001 cr125. It may have not been a terrible bike but it was in awful shape when I rode it. 6 teeth on the sprocket were missing, 2 sprocket bolts were gone, bent bars, smashed pipe, dry rotting tires and I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff. You could be going wide open grabbing gears and it would pop into neutral and about throw you over the bars lol. Bike was a basket case but I had fun on it. My cousin let me borrow it for a weekend and I couldn't wait to return it haha. With some work I think it could have been a nice bike

1992 LEM 50cc i broke 5 off them on a weekend racing SX in Netherlands (first time ever i have ridden those bike's) my local dealer who is close to the border just got them 2 weeks before the race, we had bought our PW50 in the beginning of the season there and after getting 3th in the Championship that year my dealer wanted me to promote the NEW and improved 50's we had them at 50% off the dealers price so that was a good thing and the dealer was going to be there with his truck to promote them and trying to sell them, the things i broke that weekend where insane sprockets snapped, forks bend, shock blow out, pegs that cracked , hubs cracked those first generation LEM's where a true POS we tried to make a better frame and suspension for it because the engine was pretty good in comparison with the PW50's, so i raced them the year after in the outdoors and won the Championship although the only thing we really used was the engine and frame all other things like forks , shock, triple clamps, swingarm and wheels where custom made

A guy at my dad's firestation gave one of these to him. My dad got ripped off!

Sometimes we would take it for both of us to go trail riding as he didnt have anything else (not because he couldn't get one, he just really didnt want to ride at the time). So, he got my '86 YZ125 and I got to ride that hunk o' shit. No one reading this has enough time for me to explain how much of a backwards engineered, pile of steaming shit it really was.

1981 KX 420.
Biggest disappointment was my brand new kx 250f.
What a slug......only kept it a month.

I've been fortunate to ride some really great motorcycles. The worst handling hardest to ride bike? I just sold it for $3000.00!
Cherry 2007 KX250. Motor is really fun like a light switch on or off. compared to a triple S fork it was the worst suspended bike I've owned. The biggest problem is that frame is truly flawed. I just chase settings to try to get it to turn, nothing helps. Stick with YZ250 or KtM/hus sx250 tc250. We are not James Stewart that bike will hurt you!

This one is by far the worst kind of modern bike I've ever ridden. Everything about it just felt odd

It is funny how different people opinions can be, I absolutely love the chassis and suspension of these Kawi's. I've got an 06 250 and an 03 125.

The goofiest feeling bikes to me are the modern Yamaha 2 strokes, the bars, to seat, to pegs could not be in a more awkward positioning for me.

But the backwards engine yz450 takes the cake in the shittiness department. Descent engine, but I am sure a boat anchor with tractor tires would turn better.

I haven't ridden many and only owned 2 bikes so this view may be uneducated, but the 2006 RMZ 450 that I had never felt very good to me, just felt heavy, turning was weird, down on power and was a goofy ass 4 speed transmission...How RC stomped everyone on these things was impressive

I've ridden some really bad bikes, like chinese pit bikes, so they are the worst of all. But for the worst letdown bikes I've ridden, my 2003 kx250 was a dog. It ran like a 125. Spent a lot of time swapping jets and couldn't find any thing to make it go. Put an fmf gnarly and a v-force and the thing still had no bottom end.
Top of the list of letdowns for me is the 2010 yz450f. Mega turd. May as well slap Yamaha plastics on the xl500.

I've had 20-25 bikes and for me it was the 2000 Suzuki RM250. Did not like the feel of it at all, but loved the 2001.

While not the worst handling bike ever Lots of guys just kept tossing money at these to keep em running for more than a couple motos at a time.

Wasnt actually a bad bike but mine was so clapped out. I had a 2001 yz125 that was held together with wood screws and zip ties. I was a dumb kid in 9th grade and it was my first full size bike. I laugh now when I think how clapped it was. Everytime i rode it I had to bring gear oil and spark plugs with me because the crank seal was so bad it would suck oil and foul spark plugs. It ruined every jersey I had because it spit so much oil. The front brakes didnt because the forks puked oil all over the rotor and caliper. I participated in my first ever mx race with it and the seat fell off because the zip ties broke. Lmao. Ive come a long way since then, fortunately.

gtfo with this nonsense. Quad riders can not by motorcycle law have any opinion on any motorcycle. If you could turn a motorcycle you would love that bike. I loved everything about that bike. Turned great. Power was good. Won two championships on it. One of them I beat national champ Steve lamson, Keith Johnson and a few more AMA pros for a night series championship on a bone stock 06 rmz 450.
