Yaa it definitely sucks and is a blow to the outdoor series. Kinda crazy that hes been racing with a torn ACL since Indy 2017. Was that the practice session when Osborne stuffed him off the berm?

damnit, he said it happened in 2017, so why he getting surgery now? couldn't he wait til after outdoors? man i was stoked for his win but that news sucks i was looking foward to seeing him outdoors

If he waits till after outdoors to fix it then he'll miss supercross next year. Supercross is where the moneys at and mainly where the sponsers want to see their riders.

He probably knows the pounding of long outdoor Moto's he never make it. I'm sure that's why he's doing it now Supercross is all about timing and short motos

It almost seems that is a way to do suoercross only, at vegas announce you will need "surgery " and walla, no outdoors Smile

I hope he heals up well.

The off-season isn't long enough to recover. ACL's take a long time. If he did it right after the last notional he'd miss most of SX.

With another year of growing on his frame I would think he's going to be too big for a 250f. Then again hoping on a 450 right after an acl .... yeah not sure how that'd go.

I guess a regional title is worth more than a national one. Skipping getting it fixed last off season so he could win a regional sx title worked out great this year. Nothing saying it'll be any different next year. Couldn't he get it fixed after outdoors and be back for East Coast?
