Alright, so I've be debating in my head who is most naturally talented rider around right now. All the top guys obviously are really talented but they also work very hard to be talented. Is there anyone who stands out as having an incredible amount of natural talent even in comparison to other top riders? Some names I have tossed around as being maybe the most naturally talented may surprise some of you. I'm thinking possibly Seely, Barcia, or Bogle but I may be totally off base...thoughts?

When all of the pros you listed, along with most every other pro out there says JS7 is by far the most naturally talented, i think the answer would probably have to be JS7. Who would argue against it when his own competition says it?

Is he the most naturally talented rider now though? Yes he has be innovative and definitely was at one time but I just don't see it anymore. I did consider him as a possibility but as of this year I haven't seen James Stewart.

Pourcel is possibly more talented than James. James missed a year and can't even turn it up in practice anymore. Pourcel had had the most stop and go career out of anyone and the one thing he still can do purely based on talent is go fast. He races scared, doesn't train or ride nearly as much as anyone else. Speed is talent

JMB maybe- wins GP's/ then America and also even had a stint at Road Racing and did pretty good- guess he is not 'around now' though, so maybe he doesn't count.

Kdub is defiantly on the list. But think of pastrana at 12-13 years old. That's natural talent.

cp377 no doubt.
"There would be free practice and there is no Pourcel. Then everybody goes out for time practice and still no Pourcel. Until the last 10 minutes of qualifying, then he goes out and sets the fastest lap." - A quote from De Reuver in Tony Cairoli movie.

When Blake Baggett is on it in an outdoor moto, it's a pretty impressive thing to see. After watching his first moto at Hangtown I saw that 2012 fierceness in his riding. He passed Tomac late moto. He would have been interesting to watch after 5 races of getting dialed. But I'll have to throw him in the list because there are times when he just turns it up and can charge.

Yea- when he did that on 250 it was pretty impressive at times for sure- real pity he hasn't done it on the 450, there again, maybe give it abit of time and he will.

Also Febvre and Paulin. Febvre just racing motocross since 2011 and Paulin riding a motorcycle since age 13.

Hate to say it 'cause I really don't like the guy, but Pourcel is a natural with tons of talent.
Still dealing with permanent after-effects of his huge 07 crash, sure doesn't rely on heavy loads of training, yet on a good day and a track he likes, can run with the very best.

If you are talking SX/MX, Stewart by a mile. No one even close.

Windham said he was never more impressed by another ride than James. That tells you a lot there.

All around, I would say Patrana. He can do all the flips and shit no one else has the balls to try and was a hell of a racer as well.

Roczen.

His pathway to the top always seemed relatively smooth to me. Everything came naturally and not only is he supremely gifted as a rider he's always had a very self-assured attitude which has massively contributed to his success. Nothing seems to phase him and I doubt he's ever felt nervous or aprehensive about taking on a new challenge.

In the states. I think Kroc right now. Would say stew but his head is in the toilet or something right now. Grant for honorable mention. I don't watch GP's enough to even comment on them but Gajser looks sick
