That's awesome but the real issue is the fact that he hasn't lined up for the past 26 races that were run.

He had fully functioning limb, wasnt sitting on a couch for a year didn't have a baby arm either. He will be a 5-10th rider till outdoors.

An issue?? Perhaps 26 races off has helped than hindered...for all we know

Where he finishes I believe is not important at this stage. He’s just returning from an injury that nearly cost his arm. I’m impressed that he’s even back in the game. What he can and can’t acomplish on the track at this stage is secondary. He’s put in the effort and has been training and is ready. I wish him safety and success. His determination is inspiring.

Anybody that races knows what missing 26 races and almost losing his arm is going to do to his chances of winning this year!

If he does win he will reset all future expectations.

If he’s top ten at A1, he should be happy and it would be a great thing to build on.

He's crashed out of every SX season. Now, after sitting on the sidelines for nearly a year, not racing at all, he's THE favorite? I don't see how this last year makes him better. Until he has speed and SX consistency I don't have him as a threat to win title. Any given race, absolutely.

I like Roczen but I’m not being emotional at all about him for good or bad.

Dude you’re a real piece of work. Not accurate at all.

You sure do spew a bunch of negativity around here

My worry is when he has his first big fall and how that arm holds up.

Everybody in the 450 field (short of Reed) has "crashed out of every SX season"

I thought the same thing a few hours ago. Can it handle a first turn crash?

He has crashed out in 2015 and 2017
He finished 3rd and 2nd in 2014 and 2016.
Before he had that crash in 2015 he hadn't missed a SINGLE race in his entire career which goes back to the Portugal GP in 2009

Not many riders on the line that have a better record than that.

You really think that he put in all that rehab this year to be happy with a top 10?
I think he would mighty disappointed with himself if he's not top 4, knowing A1
Is not the place to over achieve .

Why dont we wait and see how he does. Counting 30 some odd motos from outdoors in 2016 doesnt mean shit for supercross 2018 with a bum arm

That's awesome but the real issue is the fact that he hasn't lined up for the past 26 races that were run.

In 2017 he ACTUALLY missed:
14 SX races
24 MX races
1 US MXGP race
1 MXoN race
1 Monster Cup
1 Red Bull Straight Rhythm
1 Paris SX
1 Geneva SX
1 SUPER-X race (maybe)

That's a lot of missed racing for anyone. I'm just glad he can ride again. Shows how much heart that guy has. Our sport needs him for sure. I hope he can jump right back into winning pace, but its going to be VERY TOUGH.

Can it handle impact from any source?

Im rootin' for the guy but sure hope he can keep it on two wheels until the outdoors so all that stuff gets time to harden.
