If the dude has a condition then why would anyone be against him taking something to help him?

Antonio Cairoli used an Albuterol Inhaler after each of his rides at the Lakewood MXoN - seen it with my own eyes.
Nobody,not even Team USA fans questioned it as an unfair advantage or cried about it,even at that elevation that I can remember - because they knew he had asthma.
I'd assume he had a TUE - FIM MXoN has testing and does every year.
So to assume that fans are going to cry unfair about a rider because he got a TUE - I don't buy that.
And even as big as the FIM vs AMA stuff is on here around the MXoN time - that's not how Vital was.
So I would disagree.

So Cairoli having an unfair advantage is a tad overrated. If you want to whine about that on an asthma patient.. kinda silly isn't it?

And in fact nobody did including myself. You could tell seeing him after his rides,that he needed it....he was suffering.
I use an Albuterol inhaler and understand it....
I've used one for years.
And yes at higher elevations consistent with Lakewood it can be hell for someone with asthma,thin air,airways narrowing.
Especially with the dust if sinuses & mucous start going all crazy it really messes up the airways.
However, for the average guy that doesn't need it and your airways start to narrow because of the thin air/elevation & dust/sinuses acting up it can also open them up a little.Granted that it doesnt give them bronchial spasms (some people do get them from ).
So learn to read - because taking the time to preach to Choir is kinda silly isn't it ?
As for James....if he needed it & had was taking it under DR.s supervision and it didnt give him an advantage.
It should be the same.
