I think this is how the start will go:
and this is a normal lap:
That is a lot more different paths through the track than we normally see. They'll also be riding the first rhythm section backwards compared to the normal direction.
The Santa Clara race looks like it was also have an interesting start.
The Shop
Originally the start was a right hand out of the tunnel. Then changed to a left as shown.
that diagram makes no sense. looks fooked
Shortest start in history.
I think the most interesting part of both Houston and Santa Clara is that somehow they have to be able to practice one of the rythym sections in both directions.
Single file pleeeze!
Did they not think about that when they designed the track this thing can go bad in a hurry i would of thought they went right after the tunnel but then they will again be in opposite directions so that does not work either.
if there is a crash its red flagged even before they r 1 lap around
the first rider needs around 20 second to be back at the tunnel where lines cross each other, the last rider in the start usually is already 10 sec behind after 2 corners without a crash if someone gets shuffled of the track in the first corner its over and done for him because at the time he ends up at the tunnel he will need to wait for the first riders to go true he can then continue when the 21st rider is passed when he is able to continue and come around the first time he is already a lap behind because the first rider is already back at the section where the toyota truck is standing on the picture
I call for a all or nothing start and someone of the top riders ending up way way way behind after 1 lap
Pit Row
Imagine a big first turn pile up. Guys late getting going then headed down a rhythm lane with bikes coming towards them. Nope. Or a demolition derby meeting at the tunnel exit. Nope.
somthing like this could work
I don't know anymore this shit is confusing
