whats up with this?

from racerx observations

20TH | #46 JUSTIN HILL | YONCALLA, OR | SUZUKI RM-Z450
Hill hurt his back in practice, was going to pull out before being convinced by the team to keep racing. He did, but in the main he must’ve hurt it again at some point and pulled out. The JGR team is trying to do everything they can to push Hill toward some better results because this hasn’t been good so far. Him being out after the race (it was captured by fans on social media) wasn’t a good look either.

What's up with what?

Seems like a straightforward synopsis of the situation

Wow!!! That is definitely not a good look. My guess is that he will not be at A1 next year.

Let Hill go so he can chase his music career and put Davalos in because he wants to race.

I actually like this idea - Martin definitely puts in the effort!

At this point I'm feeling pretty embarrassed for Hill. Not a good look at all...he looks a bit on the chubby side, he's obviously partying, and the guy's heart isn't in it it...

The only thing Hill has earned this year is the biggest disappointment of the season award. Hopefully I'll eat my words by summer time but I've zero expectations.

Pretty hard to believe that he’s rumoured to be getting paid $500,000 by JGR for results like this.

Reminds me of Wharton a bit with the conflicting interests. I’ve never heard Wharton’s music, but I think he got a few positive reviews from the vbt. Nice to see him back at the races. So, does Hill’s band rock?

I don't think he's a disappointment, this is exactly what I expected from him. Summer? lol

I like Hill, and I like that he has interests outside of moto and is into good music, but damn... he is not delivering on the track. I hope he doesn't fade away without ever getting a win, or even battling for another one.

What if you are the guy writing the $500k check?

Doesn’t look good because he pulled out early with a back injury. Would you want your rider at a bar the same night?

He is just a solo acoustic artist. He might make a few bucks off Moto fans who know him but unfortunately he is just average(frat boy level?) at guitar and vocals. But I guess that never stopped Luke Bryan so...best of luck

If I was, and I was in Nashville, I'd be at a bar with live music too.
Probably make him by me a drink or 2 hahaha

Davalos & Wilson on JGR 450 for outdoors would be amazing. (If Wilson doesn't carry on with Husky).

Good for Josh and shame on JGR, maybe they ignored his history and just buried their head in the sand. Just hope he saved some money from this sham as all hope will be lost for future employers after this pathetic year.

Wilson already confirmed on this weeks Pulp show that he’s racing outdoors with Husky.

If the music scene or dreams of making it big as a musician has him distracted, my advice to him would be to hop on Youtube. There you will find loads of 8 year old kids that can out play you, out drum you and out sing you.

Prime example. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7w3tyW0itto

If I just saved your career, you're welcome.

His music comes first to him, he's a part time racer second.

What if your guy wanted to pull out of the night show entirely because of a twisted up back. The team talked him into racing and he ended up pulling off during the main claiming he made it worse. Then ends up at the bar you're hanging out in that same night. You still gonna buy him a drink and be buddy buddy?

He is a former series champion. Not many people have a Supercross 250 title. AC has none so far. AF has none so far. Marty has none. JS17 has none. ZO16 went years without one.

Not trying to defend him going out singing after the race. Dumb move and does not show respect for JGR in my opinion but being able to sing a song is not the same as being able to race a SX because of an injury. Poor judgment though.

We will know more soon when the Nationals start about his future.
