Tony looks a little uneasy on such a "tight" track environment...and with traffic, but he's fast and has great form. No doubt he'll acclimate to US tracks and be a real threat. It's going to be great having he and Ryan Dungey on the line this year. I hope Tony decides to do more than a couple of events.

Yeah it’s crazy that he’s in America racing. He looks ready. He should do the local races at red Bud, Millville,etc to get comfortable there.

Why amateurs are allowed on the track while pros are practicing is next level dumb. Almost up there with championship celebrations involving an attempt to grenade engines.

Hate to be that guy but I'd be surprised if he does every round. Let's be real, he's not contracted to do all 12, he can't train like he use to, he'll tweak his knee or shoulder, miss home and as a season goes on, it'll only get worst.

I could easily see him do a handful of rounds to start, take a break and then come back for the last few before the MXdN.

Whatever happens, it's amazing to see him there and I can't wait to see how it plays out. If any of you who head to a national, try and meet him, he's a class act.

Lupino raced one (maybe two, I forget) last year. Qualified around 4th in one I think, but all of his moto results were not so good.

Don't think an Italian has ever been on the podium in the modern era. Chiodi raced a few back in the day, but his results were very bad. I think he was nearly on the podium in supercross, managed a couple of 4th or 5th places around ~1998-2000.

i just think it’s so cool he is here racing … one race or twelve, i’m super bummed i won’t be able to see him in person as my schedule won’t allow me to attend any races this year.
