Crazy that Daytona was the last race, it seems like an eternity ago already.

I can tell that's exactly how you are by looking at that perfectly groomed track, your kids bikes/gear, and their form. You are just like me. That's okay though, this is what makes champions.

It was go time around here, too... "Go to the hospital" time, that is. My 10 year old took a good little dirt nap and complained about pain in his neck, so he got an ambulance ride. 😒
Bruised ribs and a concussion.

Sorry for the little guys get off, hope he makes a quick recovery! Concussions are scary at that early of an age and one of my biggest fears for my kids.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. He's ok. The part he is most upset about is that they cut off his pants for the ambulance ride.

...And this excellent thread is sort of getting hijacked. Let's get back to the topic: it's go time! I can't wait to see the races.

Cant freaking wait to see who comes out to make a statement! I hope Tomac wins the championship but I hope theres less than 5 points separating the top 2 in points at the 17th round!

Curious how different the tracks are going to be from race to race, how does the dirt hold up being raced every 3 days?

Thanks Mav,
Picked it up on Craigslist in Omaha, NB when the Cdn dollar was almost at par-about 6 years ago I think. Got it from the original owners, who bought it for summer holidays with their kids-never drove it in the winter nor do I. A 1987 Chey G20 conversion, first year of the fuel injected 350. Had 88,000 miles on it when I picked her up. Has 126,000 miles now. Get this-paid 3200.00 Cdn all in including getting it through the border! It has been an everything vehicle and we love it. Great mountain bike vehicle too. My Dad and I just rebuilt the trailer as a COVID project. The trailer started life as a 3 rail race trailer in 1975 then over time it become more domesticated just to haul shit, but always stayed in the family. So we stripped her down bare and it was built very well, so we re-did the the whole thing. Its a solid unit and it was fun for my Dad and I-took way too long and we had a bunch of laughs but turned out great.

We recently picked up two dogs for our fam, and here is a picture of the interior with one of our 2 bernedoodles. She just climbed back there and had a seat. Pretty dang funny.

^^^ Blast from the past. Ashtrays and all. You don't see those anymore.

Now all you just need is a couple of 80's/90's bikes to haul around to complete the look.

Nice van, there pretty rare now. Saw 1 on eBay for 20k, cheapest 1 I saw was for 8,500. Sellers call them retro classics. I owned a few vans, nothing beats sitting in a captains chair. Anyway rev them bikes up and dump the clutch, it,s Race TimeSmile

I don’t care for the track map tune, but boy, I was glad to hear it! Sorry the arrow is still on lock down.

growing up that is the set up we had to go moto, ours had cabinets behind the drivers seat and a wrap around couch/table in the back that converted to a bed, like an RV. We pulled a 3 rail and hauled my 50 inside with us 4 kids and the dog all over racing. that thing just took me back to the early 80's when times were much more simple.
