No. Despite both regions lining up at the same event the points are still split to the rider's regions. It's still a regional series.

Agreed. As long as the current AMA management personnel and culture is the same there will always be problems.

Make it a $10k fine and watch Vince stop immediately

For the repeat offenders (read: Vince Friese), first offense should be a fine ($1k so they actually feel it), second offense should be a one race suspension, and if there's a third offense, they've proven they don't learn lessons, so bench them for the remainder of the season across all AMA sanctioned events.

The whole system is heavily flawed. Volunteer flaggers, AMA clowns with inconsistent inconsequential penalities, short lap times, the repeat offender riders/teams not giving a damn, the culture of moto seemingly prioritising privateers over top riders etc. There's alot at play but ultimately the faults are at the top, AMA. It's a clown show.

All lappers should go to a communist style reeducation camp taught by the AMA for however long it takes them to finally understand that they need to get out the way. When they return to racing, John Starling should be legally allowed to shoot any lapper who fails to yield in the back of the head, execution style. This will finally make them take it more serious and understand the mantra of, “there’s a race going on and you’re not in it.”

Yeah good job by Gypsy. There are certain riders that just let their riding speak for itself, who quitely it get it done. He's just a very lilkeable guy all-round honestly, and difficult not to cheer for. And with the way he performed on the 450 at the MXDN I think he's going to be a force to be reckoned with when he moves up full time. Minor point but also fun seeing him speak his native Japanese. I've been consistently learning for about 6 months now.

I fear for your mental health this summer. Hunter and Eli will be making podiums difficult, nevermind Jett setting sail at the front. Plus, Chase doesn't usually have the same setup issues outdoors. Top 5 will be solid for Deegz first mx season though 😂

Yep. Some people, maybe a lot of people, get misty-eyed about a couple of privateers making the main event but for me it would make absolutely zero difference to my viewing experience and perception of the event if there were seven fewer back markers on the track. I watch SX, Outdoor Nationals and MXGP because I want to see the best riders in the world duking it out. If you are 5-10 seconds per lap off the pace you are nowhere near the best and never will be. This is not against the individuals who are privateers. They obviously work...

Saying that privateers don’t belong in elite level racing is not being disrespectful.

Sexton surely has proved the KTM was his problem, a piece of shit, not rideable…Right up until Tomac got on it. I’m no expert but I’d would venture to say if the top 10 in points rotated manufacturers, within 3 months the standings would pretty much look the same.
