BigRedMachine Liked a reply to forum topic Stark Varg battery life….where da haterz at?
11/3/2024 5:26pm I don't care if they lasted 3 hours on a charge, so I guess you could classify me as an Electric MX bike hater, because listening to that awful whiney noise they make and then hearing Ken Roczen at 1:12 into this video going through the whoops and listening to the rear wheel slapping around is pure awfulness. They look cool, but I'll NEVER! own one, because I don't want to ever be grouped in with the Soy Latte drinking Woke crowd that is pushing this Electric everything agenda. Can you imagine a gate full of these things at an...

Waramanga Started a new thread Yz250f fork height measurement
10/25/2024 5:09pm Gents, Where do I measure the height of the fork from on my 2023 yz250f? The manual says 7mm height is stock setting but the diagram is not showing where to measure from. There is a line in the fork tubes at about 7mm from the shoulder in the nut (the picture has the caliper at 7mm). I think the...

10/8/2024 6:06pm If the moto industry wants him to go away they could start reporting on more interesting topics to make Cooksey irrelevant. How did Cooksey get the scoop on Roczen racing a 250? Forkner to Triumph? any others?

Waramanga Added a reply to KX450 CHAIN SLIDER ISSUES
10/8/2024 2:12am Yes I’m thinking that middle ridge just wears down until the links hit the flatter bit and then it all wears down together. I thought the centre ridge was just a guide to get keep whole thing in line while it wears in.
Waramanga Added a reply to KX450 CHAIN SLIDER ISSUES
10/6/2024 9:10pm Why do you think the guide is shredded? The ridge is chewed up a bit from the chain landing on it but does that impact it protecting the swingarm? I get 100hrs from my stock Yamaha ones. Obvious question but is the front sprocket nut tight?
Waramanga Added a reply to Sleep… night before race
10/4/2024 3:06am Mindset change helped me. I was nervous about what was going to happen, how I was going to perform, would I screw up the start again. I replaced that with curiosity. I just ask “I wonder how it’s all going to turn out”. Helps me sleep much better. Also, visualising the various parts of the race day with me as...

10/2/2024 12:16am FIM, Infront, teams, other racers, no one gives a crap about Herlings being once more angry at something. Only clueless keyboards warriors who think this is an act of rebellion and it will start a revolution in MXGP... And I say clueless to be nice. 😂

When I started racing minibikes in the early 1980's my oldman and myself hit the circuit in one of these Nissan 1400 pickups. Two bikes, gear, cooler, toolbox, gas...we got it done on the cheap. Great memories.

9/28/2024 7:44pm I was a Toyota truck guy for 25 years. This little baby I had for 14 of those years and put 450k trouble free miles on it. Not once did it ever fail to start or leave me stranded anywhere. *gets misty eyed*

Waramanga Started a new thread YZ125 2019 suspension setup references
9/26/2024 1:52am Gents, I’m looking for some guidance on suspension settings when the spring rate is changed. I’ve dropped some light springs in the yz125 2019 for my son who is just getting into it from 85cc. Is there a good resource for this bike somewhere? Racetech have the spring rate calculator but no advice on settings as far as I can...

9/21/2024 1:40pm Exactly. This is the USA they are allowed to make money and the market decides if it will survive as a business. Could the payouts be higher? Maybe, but I don’t know what their bottom line is. One things for sure the insurance premiums must be through the roof.
