I like Stews take - it was a takeout. The "turned down early" wasn't the entire story. Hunter rode him up high and was inside of him. Brilliant tactically but let's not pretend he was giving Thrasher any options. A bit aggressive for early in the race. Last few laps that would have made more sense.

Let's compare 450 stats. AC moved up in 2020 and has scored a total of 837pts. AC has completed 39 races out of a possible 91 races. 3 SX Podiums 8 MX Podiums including 2 wins Ferrandis moved up in 2021 and has scored a total of 1008pts. Ferrandis has completed 45 races out of a possible 65 races. 2 SX Podiums 12 MX Podiums including 6 wins 2021 450 MX Champion

There are a lot of fans of Supercross that seem to think they are entitled to seeing changes in the broadcast, and even the racing. Whether it’s because you pay for Peacock, because you support the industry, or what have you-if you’re one of those entitled fans, allow me to educate you on why Feld Entertainment doesn’t care about your opinion. I was curious so I looked them up. First race Saturday Coop was 5th fastest lap time, 4th fastest avg lap times. Second race 3rd fastest lap, 1st avg. Third race 3rd fastest lap, 1st avg. A little better than I would have guessed.

I have always thought Coop came across as a little cocky and arrogant. I really didn't hold that against him because when a dude backs up his shit...what are you gonna say that doesn't make you look jealous and douchy? I saw him in the pits...kissin' babies and lovin' on the little kids that parents kept throwing at him. My perception of him and what I saw didn't jive...so I decided on a new perception. He's a-ok fellas.

I’ve never seen anyone faster at the end of a soft, beat up SX track in my life. Watching how fast he closed on Eli at Oakland last weekend in person was one of the craziest speed drops I have ever seen on a track and I’ve watched a ton of SX races live and in person. No one is faster in that scenario and luckily for him, over half of the tracks on the circuit break down that way, so late in a race he always has a shot. It’s wild to watch.

He brings zero insight because he cannot use his words. He acts as though he starts a sentence, and mid-way through forgot what he was going to say. Anyone with minor knowledge of the sport can explain racing situations better than him.
