4/30/2023 8:08am Sometimes you can do more damage when running over someone by stopping or slowing as opposed to soft lofting your front and up weighting your rear as you roll over. Been on both ends of that, and one end recently…..sorry about your leg in that rut Shy I’m glad just bounceing over it with my clutch in worked out

4/30/2023 8:07am AC could have chopped the throttle. In a split second he had to decide let off and risk crashing/injury or power over the downed rider. AC has been hurt ALOT. He made a choice and some people don't like the choice he made. When I raced, if a rider went down right in front of me and the pack was right behind us, someone was getting run over. You better be tough if you want to race dirt bikes.

4/30/2023 8:07am As a racer you are looking well ahead of where your front tire is, especially out of a corner and especially at the speeds these guys go. When someone goes down in front of you it’s hard to have any depth perception when your eyes are coming back to you while your bike is accelerating away from the incident. Literally no way for Adam to not hit Coop the way he fell over. Prayers for both guys.

4/30/2023 8:05am I pretty much don't pay attention to that stuff. Imagine how miserable your life is to be that kind of person.

4/30/2023 8:02am Spi, just for the record, I'm not a medical expert in any way, but I don't think you're wrong here. I was shocked at the handling as well, but I guess the Alpinestar medical crew is now the third rail of Supercross. It is entirely possible that they are both good at what they do, but made or make the same mistake here.

4/30/2023 8:01am I work in the er for a living as well and you know that's a bs statement. I have seen on more than one occasion where a person ended up having fractures of the neck that you would have never suspected. My biggest complaint is that if you are gonna go thru the trouble up putting on a collar at least try to do it right. With today population that can be hard (fat, no-neck) If we only prevent one Brian Moreau isnt that worth the protocols?

4/30/2023 8:01am All I know is that that hit was intense, and I was incredibly surprised that they didn't immobilize his neck immediately. The fact that he could walk isn't conclusive. I had a spinal cord injury 6 months ago. I was fine immediately after. 24 hours later I couldn't walk, nor use much at all on my left side. I understand that Webb would've tried everything to continue (and win the championship), but sometimes the rider simply needs to be told no. I hope he's alright.

4/29/2023 10:18pm He’s good just way overhyped. Look at the class he’s in. Chris Blose is rounding out the top 5 and we all know Smith is a choke artist.

4/29/2023 10:18pm The question has come up a couple of times about Haiden Deegan's rookie Supercross season, and how he compares to other rookies, so I decided to look into it. The 125/250 class was introduced to Supercross in 1985, so rookies pre-1985 were racing the 250/450 class. Below is a list of rookies who finished Top 3 in the standings. Rookies Who Won the Title 1977: Bob Hannah 250SX / 450SX 8 podiums 6 wins 2nd - 1x 3rd - 1x 1985: Todd Cambell 125SX West (Inaugural season for 125 class) 1 podium 1 win 1989: Damon Bradshaw 125SX East 9...

4/29/2023 10:03pm I think there's this thing by the left handlegrip called a clutch? Not Shure what it does but I think it might of helped some. I do know In drivers Ed they told us to look where we wanted to go, ya know?

4/29/2023 10:01pm This is what I came away with from reading this. You can disagree with OP on whatever, but to blatantly go against him on that situation just because you disagree with the original post is absolutely insane. Moreau’s legs were completely limp as they were dragging him onto the mule
