3/14/2025 2:49pm Well, I just checked my stash in the basement and I have 1981 and 1982 CN-E editions. I thought I had a bunch more but they may still be at my dad's house. If you don't find another source, I will check when I go there in the future (a month or two).

3/13/2025 6:06pm I'm trying to find some Cycle News East issues from 1983 to check some old race results from the tracks I raced that year. I kept a good diary from '80'-early '83 but I quit before the GNC at Lake Whitney for some reason. High school graduation, girls, fast cars and other distractions, I don't know for sure why I...

2/26/2025 4:54pm We had a blast with our Aussie friend joining us at Budd's Creek for the racing weekend in '07, so now I'm opening the invitation to join us Mississippi racing fans for MXdN '25 at Ironman Raceway in October. If you're still out there and following MX racing, give me a shout Rob! I'm not coming to Wagga Wagga to...

3/5/2024 8:16pm Yeah, that's why my '93 300k mile Chevy smokes, it's been suckin' sand!!! But that's only on startup, then it quits.......???? I musta got self-sealing valve seals or sumthin, I dunno......

3/5/2024 8:06pm Of course Oregonians don't want to be your friend. They're afraid you'll become a squatter in their house, and they'll never get rid of you. In Texas, no such fear, they'll just shoot you to get rid of the problem. TM

3/5/2024 8:04pm My kind of people. It is literally why I moved to the south and away from the PNW. Label 'em how you want, but you will not find nicer people, the kind that look you in the eye and say hello to strangers all day long, will drop what they are doing to help you, and still have traditional American values. One trip to the south and you will get it, kindness does still exist somewhere in the world. LOL. Hopefully the weather stays true, I have been watching this for days as I have no desire to drive 5...

3/5/2024 6:31pm I'm thinking about getting endzone seats to get good sightlines of the runs through the whoops and rhythm sections. The TV shots of riders coming at ya and going away look better to me than side shots of these sections. 50 yard line seats on either side will only give good views of the riders on the side of the...

3/1/2024 7:31pm If the forecast is not good I will not buy tickets or book hotel rooms in advance. But if I wake up next Satiddy morn and see sunshine, I'm gonna be "Eastbound and down", Birmingham here I come!!!

2/29/2024 8:16pm Birmingham is always nice to visit, great scenery/terrain, nice people, and BARBER'S!! If you like bikes and haven't been, you gotta git yore butt over there soon. I went when they opened in '03 with new racetrack, SBK races, and 5 story museum with 400+ bike displays. It's awsome! AHRMA vintage days in the fall are lots of fun and...

2/29/2024 7:44pm I'm hoping for good weather and a good crowd to make this a race that will stay on the schedule for years. The layout is different than the NO/ATL Domes I've been to, but it might be better. Bleacher seating will be different, but should offer more mobility to move around to different areas once the race is started and...

2/29/2024 7:26pm We are staying at a hotel a couple of blocks away as well, save the stress of parking and traffic leaving the stadium. Walk around a bit, go to the pit party, etc. (also praying for good weather). I hope this venue does well, it is great having another SX in the south!

2/27/2024 6:58pm I'm going to the races next weekend and praying for good weather. I sat in the rain at A1 2005 and it ruined my only trip to Cali to see races. Many years of going to Atlanta & New Orleans SX races has made me love the Domes but I'm hoping for the best. Does anyone have experience with Uptown...

1/6/2024 4:57pm I'm looking for a long lost MX-loving Aussie pal who joined me and Country Brent at Budds Creek for the 2007 MXdN. Hailing from Wagga Wagga and last seen him departing DC airport for more American vacation time, I miss ya, Rob!
