What you’re experiencing is normal, and a big part of all sports. Everyone goes through this just nobody likes to talk about it. He did a 2:12- then tried to pull for tear offs 3-4 jumps in a row while on Chase’s back wheel. Then backed it down and cruised it home for second. Definitely broken, no idea what could have happened to him

I don’t think Eli was going to pass him because it was so hard to pass on that track but he did run out of tear offs and it clearly slowed his pace.

Since you guys seem to be enjoying the videos figured I'd share this one from this past weekend, got to line up with Chad Reed in 25+ who was a childhood hero of mine so it was a super cool experience. Unfortunately only got to do one moto with him because I ended up blowing my bike up at the end of the first motos but at least got to head into the first turn right there with him. Was a really stacked 25 plus class for an area qualifier with myself, Chad, 2 time Loretta's 30+ champ Nic Hayes...

I thought the same when he said DB and JT were both coming in. DB is tight with Carmichael and JT was full team Reed back in the day so what you said makes the most sense in my head

I had Xtrig clamps on my ‘15. They were adjustable between 20 or 22mm offset and I much preferred the 22, made the handling way less hyperactive

50 hours on mine. Just did an upper end. Valve clearances were in spec. Everything else looked perfect. I have a full machine shop and Sunnen bore gauges and masters, so I was able to inspect the cylinder in detail. It was +.0002" / -.0000" on bore. It was near perfect side to side, and high in the cylinder. The +.0002" wear was fore and aft, and low, as you would expect due to piston rock. This is about 1/2 the wear I would see with a 250. I would expect the cylinder to make it to 120-150 hours before...
