A stock well jetted YZ250 can put out 47-48hp. A few mods and it hits 50 easily. A PC pipe alone will get you there, but it is not the most "rideable" power curve.

What are those Star Yamaha 250fs putting out? Any guesses? I'm guessing close to 50, but with an obviously much wider power band than a 250 2 stroke.

That's an impressive gain (not surprising though).

More like you must not be familiar with the star bikes😂 it ain’t about the yz250, it’s about how much more thr 250f star bike makes over stock too. Either way OP is a bad ass

Oh I’m not arguing that, those bikes are disgusting. The chassis and suspension setup alone makes this a whole different animal. Agreed that Burkeen is an animal either way

New favourite rider for sure!

I know it was 250 vs 250, but I got RC/ Kdub '03 vibes in those clips!

Know other members have said it, but seriously, what do we have to do to get you to a national!?
Thank you I appreciate all the kind words from everyone! As far as getting me to a national I don't really want to do the whole GoFundMe deal or anything like that but if anyone like yourself is interested in helping I'd be super appreciative of anything! My instagram is @mattburkeen you could DM me on there and you can also message me on here, I'm a low budget operation so a little goes a really long way.

Since you guys seem to be enjoying the videos figured I'd share this one from this past weekend, got to line up with Chad Reed in 25+ who was a childhood hero of mine so it was a super cool experience. Unfortunately only got to do one moto with him because I ended up blowing my bike up at the end of the first motos but at least got to head into the first turn right there with him. Was a really stacked 25 plus class for an area qualifier with myself, Chad, 2 time Loretta's 30+ champ Nic Hayes, and another really fast local rider Jamal Porter. Needless to say the 22 had everyone covered

You are absolutely icing those right hand corners. Absolutely zero rear brake drag insanely impressive...
