Plus Tomac didn't lose any points. Tomac rode like someone focused on the championship today the 2nd moto. Can you imagine the title going down to the last moto?

Youve never ridden Washougal so you wouldnt know. Probably one of the most 1 lined tracks on the circuit. Top 3. They were within 2s of each other for nearly the entire moto.

That track had multiple race lines, but it only has 1 FAST race line. Very difficult to pass on if you don't get the start, or unless someone ahead makes a mistake. Great ride by Sexton, not taking anything away from him. But that was a track that only had 1 fast line and as long as he was in it and riding clean, he could hold Eli off.

I kind of felt like there is a passing of the torch taking place right now with this being Eli's last season and him fighting hard with Chase. Great racing for us fans. Second moto they were 40 seconds ahead of Anderson....The gap between Eli/Chase and everybody else is ridiculous.

Tomac never had issues passing at Washougal all the years he was going beast mode. I certainly don't agree with the OP but that was a big win

Well, I think Eli was a little faster than Chase but there was nowhere to make a clean pass when they are so close in speed AND I think Tomac got tired. Watch him put his head down after winning the 1st moto. He was shot.

Chase looked like he had just taken a short walk. That could be the difference when it is all said and done. Someone will make a mistake at some point.

Eli made a mistake while being hounded. Sexton would’ve won the first Moto had his Honda started faster / or not been in the same line. I think Chase had Eli covered today.

Couldn't one say that Eli broke Chase at High Point, or RedBud, or Southwick, or Millville?

Chase didn't even gain any points on Eli today. They were about dead even in pace and consistency all day, it was very important for Chase for stop Eli's domination and the momentum is definitely slowed a tad, but to say Eli is "broken" is a huge exaggeration.

Moran. There was almost no place to pass there today. Eli rode smart, ,stayed healthy, lost no points, and now has 3 weeks off. The last 4 rounds should be outstanding.

I love it, sexton wins one out of the last 9 and now he owns Eli. This track is very one lined and is not a indicator of anything. I am going with the more seasoned guy and that's Tomac for sure. Love sexton but this Tomacs year.

Justin Cooper straight up beat Jet Lawrence in moto 2 today. I guess poor Jett is "broken" too.

Sure have seen a lot of these two this summer. Did the camera crew forget they were supposed to cover some battles in the pack sometimes and not just focus on the leaders the whole time?
