That isn't my listing, I have Shock Therapy suspension on my KX450, as some friends recommended him because he has 2019 KX450 and although he is a bit slower, we weigh the same. It's been good so far, but it started out soft for me and I've had to go in on the clickers. I have had Graeme do suspension for a lot of my other bikes. I would say Graeme sets up a bit on the stiff side, but he is really good about listening and making the proper adjustments. He's one heck of a human too!

Anyone have feedback on FCP mounts or Works chassis lab for the Kx450?
Just had put them on my CRF when I sold it so no real chance to rode them much.

Thanks

I'm late to the party but picked up a left-over '19 last month for a smokin' deal!

Reading through the first 60 pages, I saw multiple times that the fork oil level was low coming from the factory. I planned to drain mine tonight and refill (without completely disassembling). What oil capacity are you guys running... 330cc?

I'm 175 in my birthday suit and still have stock springs. Thanks!

Been thinking about ordering a tall guts racing seat with the wings on it. When you order the tall seat, does it come with the plastic seat mount, or do you need to install this onto your existing seat mount?

Looks like the brake lever assembly got bolted onto the bar (at the dealer) with a twist. Try taking it off and giving it a turn?

Looking to toss the 7/8th Renthals and rubber bar mounts and replace them with solid mounted Pro Taper oversized bars. I really don’t want to replace the top triple clamp if I don’t have to. Do I have any options?

Kawasaki sells OEM oversize bar mounts. That's what I use with Fatbars. I have seen aluminum cones to replace the rubber bushings advertised.

I'm 175 and run 330. Was running 325 for a while but needed a little more bottoming resistance.

I don’t know what’s in mine, but I did add 10 cc from stock and it feels pretty good. I’m 190. Michael Lindsey suggested adding in 10cc increments until u get it where u like it. I just poured into my air bleed hole.

Technical Touch down south sells the X-Trig PHDS 1"1/8 bar mounts that bolt onto the stock clamps. These mounts also helped with feedback through the bars.

Graeme is a great suspension tuner, and a fine human being. Really enjoys chatting it up as well...Wink

The tall seat cover doesn't come with the foam, you need to order that to.

My 19 is going back to all stock, selling it Sunday. Great bike, keeping my valved suspension and putting brand new 2020 suspension back on. Either going with a 2020 or 2021.

I am sure I missed it somewhere in this thread so please forgive me.

Manual calls for fork oil A15-00 (1L): P/No. 44091-0023.

Is this Honda HP Fork oil A15-00 the same.

I checked with a kawasaki dealer and they wanted three times the price for the kawasaki version of the oil.

Yes it's the same oil. It's Shows oil with different labels. You can use any good brand of fork oil as long as it's the same rating.
