After hearing him on Pulp last night, I like where his head is at right now. He’s been so susceptible to injuries year after year, so he knows he just needs to be patient and treat this as a rebuilding year to get comfortable at speed on the bike again. I’d rather see him take this approach than see him rush to set the world on fire, and end up sidelined for another year like Forkner.

Well, he's 8th in points, 3 points behind his title contender teammate. I'd say he's doing alright. Still think he can win one this season. Watching him lead some laps was awesome. If he can stay healthy and build from here I'm sure he can be in the top 5 in the next races and get a podium soon. Triple crown next week should suit him as well.

Totally agree. It’s not hating on Jett to look at history and realize there’s enough guys that you can’t count on two hands that were destined for greatness and didn’t reach it. He will most likely have a great career and win multiple 450 championships, but to sit here and say he will break MC’s SX record and RC’s MX record is borderline delusional.

Several MXers have started companies outside the world of moto that became quite big in terms of sales $$$... Interesting group of entrepreneurs -- who have I missed? Note I did not include Troy Lee, Mitch Payton as their firms are moto-centric (though one could debate TLD is quite broad in its businesses). Jim Jannard started Oakley and Red Digital Camera. Jim Felt (Broc Glover's factory Yamaha mechanic) started Felt Bicycles. Greg Annette (Kent Howerton's Suzuki mechanic) started Arnette Sunglasses NorCall racer Paul Turner started RockShox Bob Fox, Geoff Fox started Fox Show which has morphed into RideFox.

Did anybody see what happened to cause him to lose the font fender and number plate? because they showed his first crash which did not cause that and the 2nd crash he still had both... But wtf happened to have that whole front end off like that.

Personally, I was VERY happy with the change. The pits and fan fest were leagues better than that downtown shit show. The track was ok, they could've done better, but not as bad as I thought it would be. All in all, I liked it, and that stadium is really nice and had a ton of food/drink to offer. I'm sold, Snapdragon all day. What'd you guys think?

1/22/2023 8:06pm Baby steps is what he should be taking. He missed a whole year of racing and from the test track he improved alot over the past few weeks. I think he’ll be a solid top 5 guy by the end of the year. Outdoors he will be much stronger as he is a better outdoor rider
