By the way, I forgot to mention that the AMA boys erected a huge ( 40' ?) screen on the "grassy knoll" by the finish area of the moto track and played the movie "On Any Sunday" Saturday night in its entirety. Ha no bragging rights, I never thought I’d live to see Australia win, yet MXdN has always been my favourite race of the year, even when the US was so dominant, and even if we never win again. It’s just that I never see money/ costs discussed so much as a determining factor, as for team US. Most countries have their financial struggles to attend, but I don’t see riders turning down the opportunity to represent every year because of it. Which seems odd when AMA is the richest moto racing series in the world.

Absolutely find the best surgeon and cash based PT you can afford. Forget insurance based PT they do cookie cutter exercises - you need someone who will spend the full hour working with you and intimately understands foot and ankle biomechanics. I’m 2 years out from a bimaleolar fracture and continue to make progress but that is because I found the best foot and ankle surgeon in SoCal and PT combined with functional trainer who knows how to progressively load the foot and ankle to regain mobility and strength. Credit where credit is due though, Deegans ability to somehow stay on the bike when he's looking out of control and like he's riding outside his limit is crazy. The amount of times I think he should have went down and and he somehow stays off the ground. Nice to see Prado with some fire after this break!

6061-T6 from different sources and certainly different continents…can, will, does…have different quality and doesn’t always meet the same “specification” in the real world. This is especially when talking about China and commercial goods.

Electric bikes need their own class

I've mapped a route from our house to our cabin. An hours drive on backroads to tellico plains, air down and run gravel roads, up over the mts. down to the south side of the smokies. Then easy hwy to Cherokee N.Carolina, then gravel all the way east using parts of the trans America trail, to 19e, then another 30 mins easy hwy drive the rest of the way. Takes over twice the normal 3.5 hr drive. But beautiful and totally worth it. Especially in winter after it snows.

Congrats! Beautiful bike! Price means nothing, you can't put a price on what makes you happy. I honestly can't remember what I paid for the last 10 450's that I've bought over the years. If you got what you wanted, that's all that matters. Enjoy it 👍

Less time and less money for me. One kid just started college. The other starts highschool plus college classes. Started a side business so I could have some play money but it burns up all my time 🤷🏻‍♂️ I can't complain though, setting my kids up to be better off financially than I ever was
