South Florida has some super aggressive drivers, mostly on 95 but I just stay in center lane with my E350. Seems like everyone has to make the hard pass going 100 mph, I enjoy going back to upstate NY where most drivers are pretty mellow…heal up Bro….

Damn this sucks, heal up quick Denny you're a good dude and a big part of our sport. Hindsight is 20/20 but if I knew someone was following me from a road rage incident I'd either call the police and tell them this person is following me home for it or drive straight to a police station. That's stainless and an easy repair with a tig welder and over half the time to do it is going to be simply cleaning and prep work, not even actually welding it. I charge $20-40 for a quick repairs like that all the time and just do it when I have a little free time in my schedule, so don't immediately go to doom and gloom here with shop minimums. Pull the pipe off and mark the hanger for which way it faces (so the person welding it doesn't have to guess), go to your local fab/welding/race shops and just...

Different bikes work for different riders. Look at Kenny on the Suzuki. There are no bad 450’s these days.

When I first got into riding around 15 years old me and dad didn’t know a lot about bikes and stuff. But for my 2nd or 3rd big bike we found a 2007 yz450f with 10 hours on it for about $2500 back in probably 2016. I was 14-15 and about 160lbs and this 450 was so fast for me it actually gave me tennis elbow just riding corner tracks around the house and stuff. I loved that bike. Insanity. Every year we all get excited for a "stacked A1" and think we're going to witness a barn-burner of a season with a 5-horse race for the championship. Then A1 happens and history repeats itself. If we're lucky we might witness a 2 or 3-horse race for a while, but being only two crashes away from a 1-horse breakaway, the battle at the front usually doesn't last long. That's a fair point. I was assuming these guys with 30ft haulers, a f350 and a picky wife. Growing up we camped in a tent and hauled the bikes on rail trailers. In 1986 we camped out at Lorettas in a tent. Didnt think anything of it. The whole week probably cost my Dad $300.

I got a toyhauler in 2018 and haven’t stayed at a hotel for riding once since then. My public tracks are 4 hours away so my weekend riding trips are always two nights away from home. Way more fun to stay at track, 9 am is early for me so I get to sleep in longer, mid Moto showers if it’s over 90 are game changers, my own mattress, traeger and ac etc and I’ll never go back! This was my morning view last Saturday!

Local guy to me guy, Lane Shaw Alvin, Tx qualified pretty good. He rides sometimes at Ultimate MX in Alvin. I’m usually sitting in my chair watching when he’s on the track lol!

Weather your a C rider, A or pro, you're not going to see any benefit from dropping a pound or 2 of your bike. People get to cought up in the weight thing. I was that guy years ago, but realized it was a waist of time and money. It can make a difference if you can reduce a significant amount of weight, but there's not much you can do with these bikes. I recently removed 45lbs of my sport bike and added 20hp, now that was a significant gain and worth the $. That's probably why im divorced lol.
