Agreed. But a new team is in need of drivers who can help with feedback in developing the car. I don't see perez and bottas being those type of drivers. I agree with speak. We need a young American driver in the field. But that will probably never happen, due to the F1 feeder system, and the money you need to bring. Not to mention that nascar is still the 800lb gorilla in the room. Sucking away young talent.

If it happens it won't be until 2028. New regulations are starting next year, but the current era engines could be extended until 2028. We'll see what happen. Going back to V10 would be great.

I know today is April Fool's Day, but last week I read that F1 is considering going back to V10 engines with sustainable fuels. The FIA confirmed it. I also read about it back in February.
